Abuja can not be as unsafe as Lagos. News of Kidnappings et al coming out of Abuja is restricted to Kwali and Abaji(both bothering Kogi State). Kuje and Gwagwalada(midly hit) are all on the outskirts.
AMAC is the Abuja everyone wants to visit. Some people have lived in Abuja for 10+ years and have never visited those LGs I listed as crime prone.

Nowhere in Lagos or the country is safe. na just God's grace we dey see for us that is still alive. it is the hard truth. Even, in your home or no be houses dem dey burn some people?

Just watch your movement. avoid free things a lot, don't walk alone, and reduce night waka very well. it is better to be sleeping on your bed than lying dead on the street in the middle of the night. any trip that can't be done in the day except work, avoid it. always trust your instincts, if you mind no go, NO GO and most importantly, always pray before stepping out.
