Thank you Vankelvin. I didn't want to talk too much on this. It's heartbreaking. Tema, Ashaiman with their large populations, great locations on the busy Nigeria-Ivory Coast road, their nearness to Accra etc etc should be planned into proper modern cities with high rises, many multistorey indoor markets, dualized roads, intra city rail etc etc. Even common Tema-Accra rail line which should ideally be double track, even this small line we can't run. Poorer Senegal is running electric trains for example

Etc etc etc. I could go on and on. It's sad. Ghana our biggest currency is our PEACE. And with all this peace if we can't be VISIONARY and think BIG and radically transform our spaces then I don't know

I do not really agree with that I have been to Soweto and if you take a alien like Soweto it is much better than 70% of Nigeria there is electricity and running water including central sewer system. There are some cities there in 0 facilities giant of Africa

LDC is based on GDP per capita - and West & Central Africa mineral rich countries have "inflated" GDP but poverty is different story. It's Equatorial Guinea type of mess.

I disagree just40. When the Tema Accra line was relaunched did you not see the heavy patronage? Traders alone would heavily patronise the line and make it profitable. As time goes on we can create modern car parks, improve access routes to the train stations, improve security at the car parks, improve the ticketing system, reserve dedicated comfortable cabins for workers, lessen the Accra-Tema commute etc etc, and you'd see workers clamouring to join the train.

Kenya have been accused of inflating GDP and believe you me I was shocked to find out how corrupt Kenya is the first time I looked into it.

yet Central Africa is still poor with almost all it countries classified as LDC despite your presupposed inflated GDP.

The only country classified middle income on this photo but does not deserve to be there because of how poor it is is Kenya with it inflated GDP.
