This is where you guys keep getting politics wrong. You need to forget sentiments and deal with cold hard reality. The North will not vote for a SE candidate currently. That's just a fact. If PDP field Peter Obi, the average northerner would rather vote A Yoruba. This is just a fact.
Now, your best bet is to support Atiku, and get the VP slot. The VP should work diligently to build trust with the North, so that at the end of Atiku's term, the SE VP would be the frontrunner.

Igbos are Independent by nature , we are hard workers we don't need politicians to hand us peanuts so it's very easy for Igbos to reject Buhari and APC because we don't need government handout to survive , we are principled .


It's only in Nigeria that people who are politically consistent are mocked for being loyal for 20 years while people jumping from party to party in the last 20 years are hail as wise
