If everyone refrained from politics because it is dirty, we will only have dirty people decide what happens to us clean or not. To wash the dirty clothes, clean hands, water and soap must touch the dirty clothes. However sha, i know this is not an attempt to make politics clean. They just want to eat their cake too. I agree with you. We need new dimensions to politics but we can't achieve this without putting discipline and Godfearing individuals in key positions. Obasanjo you mentioned is a good example. He's a corrupt fellow and one of those who destroyed Nigeria. I'm yoruba and one of those who criticised his style of government while in power. Though he tried but the level of corruption in his government overshadowed his performance.

See buhari too, some people may not like him but I don't care. He remains the only incorruptible leader Nigeria has ever had. He'd have done much more , if not for his health condition and old age. After buhari and osinbajo in apc, there's no single individual who's capable of wearing the cap of the duos. I stand to be corrected.

Who told you Muslims would be folding their arms? Muslims have always been the ones encouraging their people to engage in politics while Christians wouid say, anyone who gets there, let's pray for him to succeed. This would be the first time you'd see a foremost church denomination mobilize for a particular candidate. Afterrall, we are all Nigerians and it's about Nigeria's progress.
