Thomas may not have believe what he was told but that doesn't mean he doesn't believe in Christ.
He didn't want to build his ministry on what he heard, he wanted an encounter with the risen Christ.

The only thing that will send a man to Hell is rejecting Jesus Christ (John 3:16,18,36). Once saved always saved. Stay away from Pharisees that teach you can lose your salvation.
