UmmZayd:I wanted funding o but again I'm asking to know the reason to give them while requesting for waiver naw. Abi I should just write to them to waive it without giving them any reason? Thank you |

Ijchichi5190:Like I said, if they want to use the GRE to consider you for funding then you have to write if you want funding. If you don't, you can tell them it was waived during application and you don't have time to write it now. |

I want to renew my F1 USA visa. Is it advisable to go with my spouse, considering it is her first time? Will this affect my renewal chances? |

Hello champs, pls I need your humble advice and submission. I am 40yrs, never worked but have several internships and field work while in school and after school went into volunteering with NGOs. Graduated 2019 with a B.Sc in social work. My Masters of Social work application process has just been concluded with Salem state University in Massachusetts for the FALL 2022 resumption With Graduate assistantship to go with it. My fear is how do I generate a strong home tie when I go for interview at the US embassy. Though, I am currently doing some volunteer job with an NGO in the area of advocacy and helping illegal migrants develop new skills that at the end enhances their social well-being. Though, i have been referred for two jobs(tho no documents to prove this)by a prominent family member of mine, 1 is at the ministry of social welfare development and women affairs, and the 2nd offer is the Social work department of University of Benin Teaching Hospital with title of a senior staff. One of my eldest brother is sponsoring my masters program. Pls, house what are my chances ![]() ![]() God bless us all. |

Hello house, Please what would you advice? My sister in US will be graduating this year 2022 and she requested for an invitation letter from her school in order for me to attend her graduation. I applied for a visitors visa last year and got an appointment date for May 2022. I also applied to schools in US. Luckily, I was offered admission in ASU for Fall 2022. (Any ASU student here, please let’s connect) My question is, should I proceed with the US visitors visa appointment in Nigeria, travel to US and change to a student Visa or Send a mail to the embassy to change my visa type to F1 for the same appointment date? Kindly advice because my passport detail is already in the embassy’s record for an appointment and I doubt if I can apply for a student visa while still awaiting my appointment for a visitors visa. |

I made a video on the admission materials that got me into 7 schools in the US as a non- STEM student and also shared tips on how to navigate admission materials. If you’d like to check it out, click the link in my bio. I work at the International Office here at Miami University of Oxford. So, maybe you can trust some of my insights.

Hello house, I made a typo error in my street address while filing the D-1901 for the SEVIS fee payment and I have generated the coupon for payment but not yet paid. I have tried changing it but I can't Should I just initiate another payment or what is the best way to go about it. |

osothe:Just Street address? Then, you’re good because it is NOT a biggie mistake. There is nothing they need the ‘perfect address’ for. Go ahead to the next phase of Sevis usage. You're good! Because even if you’re to create another coupon you won’t be able to, because your profile has been created already. Stay Safe Champ! |

Anyone used Keystone bank for form A to pay tuition recently? My application has been stuck at ADB disbursement review going to two weeks now. I’ve been contacting the bank but still the same story that my application is being processed. I want to make this payment as soon as possible. Please is there any bank with guarantee that I’ll be debited under a week? |
