Your age would determine how much you would put in the account. If you are under 24 years, something in the range of €7,500 to €8,500 would be ok. It used to be lower than this before but recent rise in cost of things across the world warrants building bigger so that you don’t have to prove additional funds to the MA35. If you are above 24 years, it is advisable to have between €13,500 to €15,000 for a year.
Your monthly rent is also part of determinants of how much you would have as proof of fund.
Note that MA35 uses official exchange rate in translating your Naira to Euro but not Aboki rate.

** Mind you, this is just a guide. It’s an estimate. May I say I am not an agent or an immigration consultant and what I said is just for knowledge purposes but not to be relied upon 100%.**

Jku is quite stressful, if you're sending your original documents, you should be prepared to wait a while, and its not also an automatic admission.

You'd also be required to go for an interview at the embassy.

No problem. Austria is not a racism-invested country. This I know. A boy just came in from Nigeria not long and he is Graz. He has never complained about that. I have some of them too in Wels. There have been cohabiting finely with the locals for now. The reason is that austria is small and more cultured than most countries. The reason you won’t find more blacks in their undergrads courses is because they are delivered mostly in German.

Yes. It is accepted, at least in all private unis that I know o. I don’t know if public unis. Just pass your IELTS at least 6.5 so that you can stand better chances of being offered admission.

Yes, especially, those from the UK and the US. But there are some that are not that expensive.
You can check with public unis too. Most of them accept it but the admission is more competitive at postgrads level than at undergrads level The rigor of having to legalize your documents before you are considered for admission in public unis out here is what many Nigerians don’t want to go through.

They're a lot of factors that applies.
Like age, your degree programme, amount you pay for rent, e.t.c

Currently, the lowest I've seen is 8.500€ and the max I've also witnessed requested from someone is 23.000€, so good luck with it.

Legalize these documents, in addition to the ones your school in Austria wants you to legalize, because, without them, you can’t apply for residence permit:

1. Your birth certificate/or your NPC certificate.
2. Police character (certificate/report)
3. Your marriage certificate or bachelorhood certificate (if you are not married as at the time you are applying for legalization).

Every other documents you will legalize now depends on those required by your school in Austria.

It is good you don’t legalize documents that are not needed by your school or by the embassy (even though the embassy will persuade you to legalize everything) so as to avoid spending some €€uros on legalization that you won’t eventually use.

So if your school lists your certificate of origin as part of documents you must legalize before you can be considered for admission, it means you have to legalize it.

You need to submit your dad’s ‘unflooded’ bank statement full of plenntyyy transactions to be on a safer side. He must also do some affidavit of sponsorship or whatever names the lawyers call it to be sure he is committed to your study and would pay as promised.

Why I said unflooded bank statement is because MA35 may request that your dad comes and explain how every kobo and Naira enter the account and this may be difficult to explain, especially when a bank statement has too many transactions within a period of 3 to 6 months.

For the accommodation, I would suggest you don’t do a sublet contract. When you do a non-sublet contract, watch out for wether you have to start paying rent immediately after the contract upon paying deposit (even though you have not started living in the accommodation) or you don’t have to pay rent at all until the day you agree to pack/move in. If you are to be paying rent continuously after signing the rental contract, please don’t default. If you default, you may loose your deposit and it means you don’t have accommodation contract in place. By the time the MA35 gets to go and find out about your accommodation and the landlord says you don’t have a contract with them, your RP may not be approved or you may be asked to provide a functional contract of accommodation.

Firstly: I filled a form on Uni Assist after creating an account after which a pop showed i should check my inbox for next..i Haven't seen any message yet.

Secondly, Has anyone successfully applied to this University? If yes, must my documents be certified before uploading them? must i write the English proficiency Test (IELTS)? Please i need answers to this before proceeding to Uni assist.

Firstly, keep checking your mailbox, including junk/spam folder. You can delete unwanted emails so that you would know when the mail you are expecting drops.

Secondly, your documents must be authenticated (that’s why the school said CERTIFIED) by both Federal Min of Education and Federal Min. of Foreign Affairs in Abuja before you proceed to the Austrian embassy for legalization of those documents that the school requires and the ones you would use for your residence permit application.
I do not think you need IELTS. You can include other certificate that shows your language proficiency ( either in German or English). It is good you send an email to the school to clarify what exact certificate of proficiency they want you to attach, though.

I doubt if you can get any Austrian uni that won’t ask you for legalization before being considered for admission, since you are not from any of the EEA (European Economic Area) countries or other third countries that are allowed to use only notarized documents for admission.
