You need to make enquiries on your application. There might be a lot going on which you might not see. I wish you can order your notes

It's a very good course in developed countries. After graduation, you can work in all educational settings, community organizations and with government. If you even go for thesis route, it'll be great. There are many research institute and government spend millions on research as grants every year.

University of Manitoba is one of the school that offers the program.

My field is political science. What if I simply go for the course based Masters program? Does it affect the process in which one can obtain a Post Study Work Permit after studies?

Hello house please my company with no I.T background want to setup a new I.T department and they want me to head the department and also want me to go for a 1 year I.T diploma course in canada (c.i.m.t) to be precise and plan to go with my family my company promise to sponsor us all through the 1 year.

How do i convince the VO about the new career path?

Will they allow me move with my family as we will be back to nigeria after the course thats why we choose cimt cos they dont give pgwd?

I also seek for admission for sept but cimt offered me admission for may 2022 should i continue with this or ask them to move to sept to give time to process the study permit ?

If i start the process now can i get approval on or before may?

Your response will be appreciated
Thanks

Please go for schools with pgwp. Spend 24hours in Canada, you won't want to come back again.

Good morning, All.

A quick question, please: About 10 of us do this monthly contribution in my place of work such that everyone will send his/her own contribution (like 100k or 200k each) to the month's beneficiary. I have been a beneficiary of these monthly contributions 2 times this year. Do these contributions amount to lump sums that I have to declare in my SOP? I also did this contribution last year.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 3:32am On Mar 17, 2022
I think the conviction for the VO is already in what you mentioned, i.e., our company wants to start a new IT department and wants you to head it.

Your company should state the reason and any conditions in its letter of sponsoship too.

You shouldn't have a problem moving with family. Your attachment to your company is one proof of home ties. You can also mention the unavailability of PGWP.

I will advise you move your entry to September, the time between now and May might be short for visa processing and adequate planning.

Lemme get you right... Your undergraduate degree is in political science and you've not had any work experience in disability studies field, like teaching or counselling?

Well, if that is the case, I'll strongly advise not to go for the program. Such programs are highly professional and require strong background in courses like learning, child development (emotional, cognition and social), and a lot of psychological studies in education as prerequisite before doing a masters. It's almost impossible to secure admission without having such background. But many schools may accept years of experience in that field to cover for it.

But, it doesn't affect the process of getting a PGWP either course or thesis base route.

ocpaschal:

Noo, I don't... You can Google it.
SOP related to special education or child support care could be useful too.

@skull4eva still waiting to learn from you and other gurus at the bolded.

If you used them as hometies you will need to have more explanation to make to convince the VO that you are not running away with ur family. See it is on a safer side to use other things as home ties since you intend to bring in your family. Its better you use job or landed properties or company assets or aged parents and siblings because once you come here there must be a cogent reason to change your mind to apply for your family and cogent to you might not mean cogent to the VO

you can do both. Notes take like a month and sometimes mps don’t reply so just order your notes so you don’t loose both ways
