I think it's pragmatic to say we are now in a multi polar world. The western hegemony over global affairs has now significantly diminished.

The western power wasted the last 20 yrs exporting democracy and freedom by fire by force, while serious countries focused on prosperity and economic freedom.
Well the report card is out and we know the winners and losers.

I hope western nations have learnt their lessons. The idea of imposing democracy and freedom over all cultures will now take a backstage.
People and nations should decide their affairs and chart their own pathway to prosperity as it suits them.
Enough of bombing every nation into democracy and human rights. Not everyone wants to live like European.

Europe still have the refugee crisis to deal with...an aftermath of their reckless interference on foreign soils. If not handled properly, Europe will implode and may lead to unending civil wars among different cultures that will constitute the new Europe - ethnic whites, arabs, north africnas, asians, blacks, mixed race...its going to be a big mess.

The future for Africa isn't too bright. I doubt there will an upward movement in the pyramidal scale for Africa. Except there's an intellectual revolution, I really dont see how prosperity can be established on African soil.

I wish those who know nothing about economics would refrain from commenting in these types of threads.

Context bro, context! If too much money is already in circulation, why would they spend less? Stimulus checks, loan forgiveness, child tax credits etc, there's so much money in circulation that demand for products and services are very very high leading to higher cost of goods and services.

The businesses continue to raise price because demand keeps increasing at an higher pace than production. For example, I bought a $400,000 house in December 2021, it is March 2022 now and that same property is being valued at $490,000, I did a test run and I received 3 offers well above the asking price of $490,000. This my friend is what the feds are trying to combat, without putting a barrier to borrowing, prices will continue to skyrocket not only in real estate but in every commodity/service.

Would you rather increase the cost of money or decrease the value of money? Think about it seriously, what good will it be to be granted loan of 1 million dollars when it only has a value of 500,000 dollars? As an investor you always want to edge against inflation, you want to make sure your returns/profits makes sense.

Which blessing when this hurt the purchasing power of the consumers? The US and UK are in deep economic quagmire. I predict more hike in another three months
