Schemerkhiz:What's funny is that this stream is way better than what the NFFTV stream for the falcons. I'm impressed |

Nigeria women to play Tokyo 2020 gold winners Canada in April friendly Nigeria senior women team will play Canada in a two-legged international friendly in April in British Columbia, the Canadian Soccer Association has confirmed. According to Canada Soccer, the first leg of the doubleheader comes up on April 8 in Vancouver, while the second leg will be played in Victoria - both in the Canadian province of British Columbia during the next FIFA window. Canada are ranked six in the world following their triumph at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic, while Nigeria, who are featured at all the eight Women's World Cup are placed 41st on the global standings. The reigning African queens booked a place in the Morocco 2022, TotalEnergies Women's Africa Women's Cup of Nations following a 3-0 second qualifying round aggregate win over Cote d'Ivoire in Febuary. In build up to the continent's showpiece, which doubles as the qualifying tournament for the Fifa Women's World Cup 2023, the Nigeria Football Federation have secured the doubleheader date with Beverly Priestman's side. Both teams will be meeting three years after they met in build up to the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup in Spain, where Desire Oparanozie's effort could not save the Africans from a 2-1 defeat to the Canadians at Pinatar Arena. Strikes from Janine Beckie and substitute Sophie Schmidt condemned the African champions to a defeat as they raised their record to 1-1-1 against the Nigerians. Before April 2019 meeting, they also met at the 2011 World Cup in Germany, where Nigeria won 1-0 in a deadrubber match, with both already missed out on progression. This time, the Super Falcons will seek to revenge their recent defeat at the hands of the Olympic champions in attempt to make a statement ahead of the African showpiece and boost their position on the global rankings.

I hope the coach doesn't go into the Canada game with mindset to just defend for 180 minutes |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 1:06pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
isan:Hahaha... You too like vawulence.. The Player's are there and by the way game against Canada is always 50/50 Hopefully the whole squad would be available, Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie and Patricia George are the only ones am doubtful for based on injury .. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:47pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:While I fancy the invitation of new players, I really do not think it's the wisest decision now. We've experimented with quite a number of players these last couple of years, now is the time to concentrate on making the team gel. Of course new blood could be infused into the team especially with the players you highlighted doubtful, but it shouldn't be priority. Priority should be fashioning out a pattern and ensuring the girls get used to it |

Oshoala won't ready and oparanozie is too slow she will slow down the attack Schemerkhiz: |

Schemerkhiz:Why do i have this feeling that you’re her agent/representative? For the past how many days now you been dey market her ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:16pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
Pidginwhisper:Hahaha... It will surprise you that have only met her twice while she was playing for Bayelsa Queens then, We don't even communicate sef..., Just a fan of her game nothing more. But wait ooo I do post about others too as much as I post about my players.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:22pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
isan:Oparanozie is very much in his Plan. The 3 players I posted here are out injured don't know the extent of the injury to Desire and George.. As for Desire she had been out for about 3months now... George is going to two weeks now. For Oshoala I don't even think Barcelona will allow her come for the Friendly since she's just recovering from the injury by that April. Them get important Champions League games ooo Will try and get to George to know more about her current injury situation.. cause me nor like the way she da injury towards FIFA free window, We really need to see what she has to offer at the full back for the Superfalcons not for us to be judging with her Club Performance.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:24pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
lovewins:Am very sure this is what Coach Randy Waldrum will be doing at this Stage... Working on the team Style of play, tactically, technically and how they can gel together as a team He needs to start knowing his starting 11 and possible replacement for them. We already have enough pool of players. The AWCON is 3months from now.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 3:53pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:Defending set pieces by the falcons look okay for the Superfalcon for now but taking set piece is another problem right now we need to work on that.. No body does the free kicks better than Oparanozie especially the ones closer to the 18yard box. one of the reasons we still need her.. We really need to take advantages of our Set pieces… Ngozi Ebere was solid in delivering Corner kicks then. We need a dependable set pieces taker like American Megan Rapineo |

daveP:Last week Coupe De France Game After their 1-1 during 90mins and Extra time... Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie saved a Penalty during the Shoot out but her teammates fail her by not converting theirs against Fleury 91 FC |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:55pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
Nnadozie has proved she can save penalty also mostob: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:10pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
daveP:Can’t tag Chiamaka Nnadozie a Penalty Specialist yet but she’s pretty Cool and heading to that dependable stage already… In few years time if she can continue in this form and improve more and more i bet she would be among the top5 Goalkeepers in the World. Tochukwu Oluehi remain the Specialist… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:12pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:Without the likes of Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie who are your possible 6 Strikers for the Friendly against Canada..? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 7:13pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
mostob:Actual Chi does well too. Club focus in context. If it's SF, it's definitely Oluehi. Oluehi make me forget Precious Dede. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:17pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
daveP:Club and Country Oluehi is still ahead, she has done in Belarus before, Norway even here in Nigeria especially for Sunshine Queens during the 2015 period, Sunshine were just good at drawing games and hoping on Tochi to deliver and she never fails.. Big Credit to Tochi Penalty exploit |
