It's like Honda Civics are not as problematic as accords
When I was using EOD, my eye saw fire, but since I changed to civic 09 about a year ago, If I have to visit mechanic, it's either leg work or servicing.

No error codes at all, very strong and reliable.

A lot depends on the hands doing your maintenance for you..... as well as your own maintenance habits.

A lot also depends on the state of the car before it was purchased.

IMO, the EOD is still a great car.

My Honda baby boy started making one noise when been started,d battery is showing on the dashboard alongside one other red light and the complete break light sign on the dashboard,when you start it it will quench after some seconds,what could be the problem dear house,I intend to invite an electrician tomorrow sha

Battery light - Poor or no charging by alternator
Break light - Flat brake pads, low brake fluid or faulty brake light switch
Start & quench - Camshaft sensor, dirty idle air control valve or faulty fuel pump


Conclusion - Go do a scan and post codes

It's a good car if you buy it as tokumbo. And use only the recommended ATF and engine oil. You will have no issues.

yes its an excellent ride,just make sure proper inspection is carried out,so long its in a good shape na solid ride.

Gear fluid is Honda Genuine ATF DW1

Engine oil is 5W30 but this now depends on what the previous owner was using and for how long he was using it.

ok, thank you sir. I don't know where they scan vehicle in Onitsha, however the mechanic confirmed that its the alternator and break that needs to be attended to. please do you have idea of the price of alternator? please and please before this mechanic go cut off person head.

Tell your mechanic to check the rear absorber bushing, it is usually bottom of the absorber

I just noticed my Honda City starts to squeak whenever I accelerate. As soon as I take my leg off the accelerator, it stops. Please, kindly any one have any idea what it might be and possible solution. Thanks a lot in advance.

Happy Sunday everyone. My 2006 Honda accord a/c compressor clutch stays engaged even when the ac has been turn off. Have checked the relay, it ok. Also both fans at the radiator stays on . Note; thermostat hasn't been bypass. It just started this rubbish today.
