If China loans you money to build an Airport and you can’t pay for it what’s bad if they take it over and run it,
As per Ukraine/ Russia we should not get to emotionally involved, it’s how great nations are built, how America or the U.K. was built, we have to love our country and be hard nosed like Oyinbo,
As per cancellation of debt it’s only because the Chinese moved in and started building the worlds infrastructure , look at the difference btw a 100yrs of whites and 20yrs of the Chinese. The Chinese are far better as partners and friends

Your comparison is subjective and based on your knowledge on what's on ground. The Chinese are in our forests allover the country East, West and North, harvesting our mineral resources in collaboration with bribed and corrupt govt officials and traditional rulers. They have police as security and backup as they are throwing out indigenes from their ancestry lands.
The West, however bad have a certain standard and mode of operation. But with the Chinese, anything goes. Chinese are after doing the business at all cost, they will do deals, bribe their way in and deliver low quality jobs with prisoners as workers on ur site, that's why Africans like them.
Find out about the operations of Ericsson and Huawei in Telecoms industry in Nigeria
Also compare what CCECC and JB or other western construction coys are doing.

At least after 60yrs of partnership with the West we still have our country and flag flying in Aso Rock, let's continue like this for 60yrs with China and see if Nigeria will not be a neo-colony of China as a result of bad business deals that govts like this current one are dealing and mortgaging our future in the pretence of infrastructural development.

The Chinese govt doesn't even love it's people, u think they love u? The black race needs to wake up. The earlier we realize they are all using, milking and sucking us, d better for us.

Mr joetem, kindly ask him and other drivers how easy it is to net 10k a day ?
That net 10k a day no be fore newbies, except weekends. Why ?
Cause you will see 10k net on your dashboard but but not in your account because the fuel you would have used to net the 10k daily will be way more than you can imagine.

G no loud em, Pearl1910 is very good at misleading and trying to sound political correct. Driving is not just worth it right now, one will wait for trip tire. For a newbie? I'm sure the waiting time will frustrate them.

No offensive gesture... what we have now are dew morning rush and scary evening rush, any other thing is inbetween. The way Indriver will be rolling these days, if you have liver, give a rider price, when they send trip to you.

Please we should stop sounding like they are no hurdles in this hustle.

To be honest I think 10k should be the base/average target for any driver. I started this hustle 2 months ago and any day I work full day because I do this part time (on my off days) I must go home with 10k inside my pocket not Uche’s bolt account balance.

It is now a routine that for every 8500-9000(full tank) fuel I buy I must make 10k three times before I refill. And this is just in Abuja with horrible fare, I believe Lagos should be higher.

There are people who net 20,30 even 40k once in awhile , but these are experienced old timers with a long network of offline clients.

Trust me. Driving in Abuja is easier. I have tasted both cities long enough to come to this conclusion. It's easier to get an offline client in Abuja than in Lagos, you know what I'm saying.

What do you mean by horrible fares.? The differences are not really marked from a ₦/Km. perspective. Once there's no multiplier, I don't see any real difference.

Sorry jare, its been a busy... on a light note, I don't think it's advisable to get a naija used car for such purpose, unless you want to be driving it yourself.

You said you dont mind spending 1.5m to get and as well spend another money to put it in right shape. How much are you willing to spend to put it in right form?

Are you looking thro HP or rent? I run an idea in my head... 1.5m should get one a good naija car, if I put it for HP at 2m with remit of 120k/30k monthly/weekly that's like 17 months. A year and 4 months won't give one interest of 500k leaving the money in the bank, maybe other business would, but I am regretting the bitcoin I bought going 2 years now

So it business you just have to go with your intuitions.
You can't buy Bitcoin 2years ago and be regretting now.
No way!

LMAO
It is less lucrative to drive in Abuja than Lagos, the margin is wide. The only advantage in Abuja is that you have less touts to worry about. There are many places you'd drop a rider and you'd never get a trip out, you'd have to blow empty. 600naira yakpa for Abj. So many delays especially when you are picking someone from estate, or places like Nile uni. Getting a trip over 6k is difficult in Abj.

Abj is not same with Lagos in this hustle. To get surge for here na waec. Even during the festive period, surge scarce like competence in GMB govt. The only advantage of Abj over Lag is not having to worry about many touts, security officers don't disturb much too.

That's the fact, I am not trying to sound politically correct. U r using Indriver and u want to contribute to discuss on Bolt/Uber. U better wake up or continue to sleep with your Indriver. There is no way u will go out in d morning 7am and close by 7pm in the evening that u will not Net 10k. No f*cking way...there must be an explanation for that, but certainly not because there are no rides.
What do u mean we don't talk about the hurdles, what do we then talk about here everyday?
Even the Bazoo u r tagging knows 10k net a normal thing, but his own wahala is that it's not consistent and u can't add driving in ur CV.

Do u know how many Newbies I have introduced since January this year? They are all doing well and surpassing the targets sef. Newbies haven't experienced mad rush, they don't know how juicy it usually is towards end of the year, and they are contented with what can be made now. It's old guys that were making 20k - 40k daily in Ember period that are complaining now.
I take exception to d statement that I am misleading people. On the contrary u r the one misleading people if u say it's not worth it cos u don't have d experience or knowledge to make an informed contribution as a result of driving exclusively on Indriver.

Even If I choose to talk about the good and easy part of the business only, u sef pick your side and talk about the ugly and challenging side of the business...nobody will counter u provided what u r saying is d truth.

How to save money as a car owner:-

Buy fuel 3,500
If your dashboard showing 10k, you must’ve net 5k at hand.
Save the 5k continue hustling for next day fuel money and 2k feeding.
Do this for 5 days, you’d already have 25k a week.
Save this money into your account wey no get atm. Sunday hustling or weekend hustling should be save separately for your family and car maintenance.

For rentals/Hp

Target 7k savings everyday you jet out. That’s 35k in 5 days let your off day be Thursday only. Whatever you make after your remittances should go into your savings. Do these for 2 weeks and enjoy.

May God uplift us

Very good option combine the two and you will see the difference.
My point is ehailing is not sustainable, you can’t do it for years, I keep wondering how this taxi-cab Baba’s drive for 10yrs and train their children. Young guys can’t go to school and drive for 10yrs mba
Those babas no dey overwork themselves for peanut, na our ehailing come pour sand sand for their garri.
Normally they just sit at their parks and gist till passenger come, that gisting alone is healthy and the kind of food they eat too (not gala and bigi cola). They can do just 3 trips in a day and be very comfortable

Bros, your points are watery for real. Doing Indriver or not is not the subject here biko, regardless of that I hope you saw what Felicity posted about the difference in Bolt and Indriver the other day, I hope you saw what Bit posted too? But I am not here to drag which app is better. Call me inexperienced all you like, I'll take that as compliment.

When you say netting 10k daily 7am to 7pm, that's like grossing 13500 everyday. I just want you to know this shit is relative, they are days your hope should be high and they are days you just have to know what you are doing. No gain saying surge has not been what it used to be on Bolt lately, I don't have to be on the app to know that, no gain saying V.I is not what it used to be around 5pm lately, not even now that companies are finding it hard to power their plant and ask most worker's to work from home. Some driver end up watching NUGA games inside Unilag yesterday.

Boss with over 3k trips on Bolt, please give me some accolades... Ramadan is coming, we all know business is not always as usual during this season. Mind! I am not saying things won't flow, but all drivers should expect the unexpected and know how to make their moves. I still do 20k if I want to, but it all depends on day, you can't ask me to stay within Lekki on Monday or Tuesday around 7pm, praying for trip to mainland, damn! I am pushing luck. Not saying one cant get, but 30 drivers on a spot jostling for 5 rides? That's luck Bros, it could have fall on anyone.

When I say these things, is not to put anyone down, but like Baz001 will say, it is to prep the mind and let one know what they are going into. These are life changing advice, it may make or break them.

And for the values of experience, your 13500 on Bolt is my 10k sharp on Indriver. It's technical, I don't advise newbies to start with Indriver, but Bolt. For you to make head way with Indriver, you most know the roads, routes , and time to avoid certain areas. Ohk!

Pls who knows a functional Uber inspection Centre around Abule egba or Ogba/ college road.

I have been at the one @ Total Ojokoro. I was told they have stopped since, I also read the guys at Nationwide @ Yaya Abatan have stopped rendering the service .
I wonder why they are still on the website of Uber.
