Security votes?

I thought a governor is free to do whatever he likes with the states security votes?

But then, what do I know?

That is one of the lacunas in our Constitution.
- how much are the Governors supposed to spend on Security Votes- is it per % of the yearly budget of the State or why are former Governors and those who have benefitted, especially in the National Assembly and still benefitting in conspiracy of silence?
- they all pretend as if nothing can be done to correct the abnormalities!
-most of the funds that have been stolen by Politicians are now used directly or indirectly to fight dirty in the political arena and that is the irony of Nigeria situation!

Most of the past Nigerian governors, if not all, are guilty of this. I have never seen any past governors being querried for security vote money! The past lawmakers have never been querried before about the constituency money and how they spent it!

Over the years, politicians stole billions of state's money and run and joined the ruling party and their sins are forgiven and cases die out!

Have you been to the north lately to see the level of infrastructural development there? Have you visited Kano or Kaduna lately? You'll even see plenty igbos doing businesses there. How many Hausa owned companies will you see in the east or south.
If these governor's make here favorable for business, I'm sure indigenes will invest.
Roads are bad, infrastructure is bad, ease of doing business is very poor.
Every youth from east wants to migrate to Abuja or Lagos after school to help develop another man's land. But hausa's and Yorubas stay in theirs and develop it.
The governors in the south east always want a percentage ownership from investors that want to invest in the east. This trend needs to stop.
