Good morning fellow Nairalanders.
Please how much can it cost me to plaster a 5 bedroom Bungalow all en-suite with visitor's toilet?
Someone gave me a quotation of 150 bags of cement, 12 trips of sand and ₦750,000 for workmanship. This includes the windows and pillars designs.

Is it Okay?

750k for just workmanship is on a high side. Where's the location of the project

400 - 450k might not be feasible in 2022 for plastering a 5bedroom bungalow. But it's not out of place if you start your negotiation from there.. If eventually it falls between 500-550k you can still go ahead... Hope it's RANGE PLASTERING

Please I don't understand what you mean by range plastering.
However, the plastering includes the POP-like window designs and pillars designs too.
The mason is from Togo.

You can never go wrong with those Togolese guys as they're good at what they do. I used them most especially when am doing any plastering job...

For the range plastering just ask them am sure they'll understand. For emphasis though see below pics

From your comment, I take it to mean that RANGE PLASTERING involves the use of such iron bar to ensure that the wall levels are same.
If that is right, I guess it should be more expensive and one may not need to do screeding before painting right?

Range plastering is best, cos it helps ensure wall edges, windows edges and door edges are straight even wall surfaces ain't left out... You'll get range plastering for that price quoted above.

You'll still have to do screeding before painting if you have the financial means as range plastering is not a determinate factor not to screed your wall... Screeding helps to ensure your wall has a smooth surface

Hope all the electrical, plumbing and AC first fix has been done before the commencement of plastering. I mean the conduit work
