Decided to watch this movie cos The Batman was linked as similar to it.

Brilliant story. Great acting from Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey. The director David Fincher is a phenomenal GOAT. Great watch, also the similar noir cinematography made the intensity of the movie punch out. It's a great murder mystery thriller. Using the Seven Deadly Sins as a theme was a brilliant subplot. It was dark, grim and got occasionally gory crime scenes.

Emotional detective Mills just gave John Doe the win he wanted. He gave him an out.

Funny enough I've had se7en since last year April while I was looking for old classics. Back then, 2hrs runtime movies up till now they scare me watch jare cos of time. I found that I prefer watching series that takes me 8hrs cos over time I'll be invested in the characters and might crave more seasons if I like it. But with movies the feeling ain't the same.

Not really a fan of series except Comedy and some few ones tick the box for me. It is that continuity that bores me in a series if it becomes so long.

The best of movies are the ones that leaves you wanting more . The 90s ans 2000s sadly made the best movies . 2020s movies are just meh especially now that they are trying to force their views on us.

Take me back to the 90s and 20s for good movies .

Even when it is obvious that in most homes the women are breadwinners Unnecessary hate and dirty pride will not make pained people to admit it.

I will praise NWH for one thing...that is the development of Peter's character at the end of the movie...also maybe for nostalgia which brought the hype in the first place...
Now the issues with NWH:
The central conflict in NWH was quietly unresolved...most of the villains were brought from their verse just moments before their death...literally a second or less from their deaths...
Because of this Peter chose not to send them back to die...
But what did he do instead? He striped them of their powers...AND SENT THEM BACK TO DIE!!!
How does that make sense? They still return to exact moment just before their death, so it doesn't change anything, only 1 or 2 might be saved...the others would still die...
Basically the entire point of it all and all the sacrifices were for nothing...Aunt May too died for nothing...Peter didn't even grow from that...all he had was a desire for revenge which was subdued with childish words from his friends ...
His only growth happened at the end of the movie after he chose not to return to MJ
There is also the issue of childish and silky decision making by so many characters...

My rating for NWH still remains 6.5/10

when the movies say ''moments before their death'', it is a very open statement.

For instance, will Green Goblin be sent back to when he activates his glider, or will it be before a activates his glider? either of those moments still counts as ''moments before his death''. we all know that Spiderman will stop fighting any Villian the moment he/she stops attacking him or stops doing whatever evil stuff they're doing. So, all the villans have to do when they go back to where they came from is to stop attacking Peter and explain. easy peasy.

her death was not for nothing. she showed Peter that even though she was about to die, she still beliveed that doing the right thing was very important. that selfless sacrifice is a huge part of being a hero.

its one thing to get childish advice from friends. But I would think that advice from alternate versions of yourself who have more expierence would at least count for something.

choosing not to pursue revenge is that not growth?
also, at the begining of the movie, Spiderman was willing to brainwash the world to get the life he had before Mysterio. however, at the end, he is willing to sacrifice his existence to save the world. am sure that has to count as character growth too.

The movie Star Trek is one of my favorites. I remember the day I first saw it, and I was very impressed with the plot of the film. Unfortunately, the quality of the films in those years was terrible. Fortunately, today I have the opportunity to download this film in high quality on thenewpiratebay and, most importantly, for free.
