Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will this weekend kick-off his declaration for a second term at the national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.

A prominent member of the Governors Advisory Council (GAC) who is also one of the apex leaders of APC in Lagos state, told DAILY INDEPENDENT on Sunday that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Lagos state governor had endorsed Sanwo-Olu for a second term and had instructed the party leaders to work for his reelection.

“Sanwo-Olu is coming back. I can authoritatively confirm that to you. He is likely to declare and will kick off his re-election campaign this weekend at Eagles Square, the venue of the national convention of the APC on March 26 in Abuja” .

“The governor has performed creditably well in all areas since coming to office in 2019. As a technocrat, he focused on his job as governor and allowed political leaders who ensured his emergence to run the political affairs of the state. This endeared him to many of us and we believe he should be allowed to continue the good works he started” he said.

And what exactly is wrong in Tinubu endorsing Sanwoolu for second term? Political leaders all over the world usually endorse candidates for whatever reasons so how’s this a big deal? Must you guys always wail and find fault in anything that has to do with Tinubu ni? His he responsible for your misery or what?

Anyway, Sanwoolu has performed creditably well and he deserve a second term to consolidate and complete his good work. A good first term definitely deserve another. Kudos to Asiwaju for the endorsement.

You were not forced to vote for Sanwo Olu bro. I don't know why everyone wants to forced their opinions or candidate on someone. You're not satisfied with the candidate, use your PVC to vote him out. I was not satisfied with Akeredolu 2nd term, i didn't vote for him. Simple

Yes Tinubu endorsed him personally as you and I too can endorse whoever we like in political family. Why does Tinubu endorsement of sanwolu become an headache for you is your major problem .If he Endorsed you have headache if he doesn't you still have headache .High blood pressure is near you if you don't take yourself out of hatred that dominated your life styles.
