putytanks:Exactly, same with Buhari. So I pity Nigerians who believe they can afford to waste another 8 years of their lives. |

All I know his, Tinubu and Atiku cannot be as worst as Buhari. At least. And they both have balls more than GEJ. Tinubu job is to assemble the right team and he knows how to do that well. |

Parachoko:Fact is that the man is brilliant. He is not someone coming to guess or experiment cluelessly in Aso Rock. He knows precisely what is required to turn Nigeria around and make her great. He is not seeking to be President merely to have that in his CV as Atiku and many are. The proof some are born to lead and have a genuine passion/talent for leadership is what leaders do when not in office. Since Tinubu stepped down as Governor in 2007, he has remained a workaholic with an incredible passion for mentoring people, processes and careers plus contributing to the growth of his Party, State, constituency and nation. We have not seen anything similar from Atiku who has never given a toss about any political Party let alone care about their growth and development. They are just platforms to interchange and use cynically for his Presidential ambition. He has done nil to influence the socio-economic direction and growth of his native Adamawa. Nigeria he completely neglects for Dubai till elections are upon us and he shows face to arrogantly demand we make him President. Good luck to Atiku but it is obvious it should never be his fans, like Omokri, who should be taking pot shots at Tinubu. Tinubu is indeed the only serious candidate for intelligent pragmatists who know that whats is needed is a leader who (1) can win and (2) can work to refrom Nigeria. One without the other, i.e good candidate who cannot win or a bad candidate who can win, is no good for Nigeria . |

OgogoroFreak:Yaradua was on an upward trajectory before death cut him short. Despite, the fact we are doomed with leadership in the country. I expect the likes of Tinubu or Atiku who at least are educated to a large extent, to be able to make some corrections. Buhari doesn't have the intellectual acumen to direct some of the things he had in mind. Lagos has never runned out of idea and innovatism since the days of Tinubu and that's something our federal government lacks. Even when there was a artificial cash crunch aided by OBJ in Lagos State, Tinubu at that point still found a way to raise Lagos internally generated revenue to an unprecedented high level. Thereby making Lagos not totally dependent on FG. Agreed, the task of governing Nigeria is a much bigger project. But I can bet you Lagos is the perfect training ground for such a big post. |

M1Garand:Abeg ignore that hateful ignoramus. Anyone that thinks Lagos will not have 24/7 electricity, if States have full control of every aspect involved in generating and distributing electricity, is a fool. Connection to the moribund, archaic and inefficient national power grid will always hinder even the most able States and Governors. This is why some of us passionately, first and foremost, support the notion it is a brave and visionary reformer, with no interest in maintaing our failed and discredited centrist system of governance, who must become President. |

These policies are extremely sound but you can never trust a career politician to deliver. Anyone can identify our problems and proffer solutions. The delivery and implementation are the challenge. APC promised to solve all the problems, but failed to deliver even the simplest of the problems. Nigeria accounts for 70% of yam production in the world. Ghana accounts for only 10%. Yet, at 10% production, Ghana is currently the world's largest exporter of yam, "thanks" to our porous borders. Ghanaians enter Nigeria, buy our yams at ridiculous prices, move it to their country where they have a sound structure in place to preserve, package, brand, and export to the developed world in exchange for Fx since our yam do not make international export standards. APC identified this problem 7 years ago and appointed a 90-year old great grandfather to fix the problem. 7 years after, Nigeria now accounts for far less than 70% yam production due to crisis in the middle belt. Ghana is still the number one exporter because our borders are still porous. Nigeria is not in the list of top 10 exporters of yam. The worst is that those that failed to deliver on this promise are still in government whilst some of them now campaigning to be re-elected. |

Idoko619:You don't understand. Nairaland is still Nairaland - only that recently it has been hijacked by paid dogs, like the OP here, who just have to do their ' business' . There are alot of these dogs on here presently, and there will be many more as the election approaches. Hang on tight. Don't listen to them! They have little regard for t their own future and that of their generations, so why should you pay them any attention? Dogs they all are. Useless ones! |

Idoko619:Do you know that total sum of all the bullshît allowances he receives as pension totalled $202,000 as at 2007 when it was signed. To put things in perspective, the highest paid US Governor received $206,000 in 2007. That is to say, the active Governor of the State of California with a GDP of 2 trillion USD (2007) received a salary equal to that of the ex-governor of an 80 billion USD state. What does that tell you? These fools are interested in the seat of power solely for the purpose of lining up their pockets. And their lapdogs eat up whatever shit or vomit they regurgitate. Nigeria is a lost cause |

Dsalvo:Wow, but he was brilliant enough to support Buhari so massively. Packaged the so called "man of integrity" so well and influenced people through numerous lies which they call Manifesto. I know your likes can sell your birthright for a plate of porridge but please think of the millions of Nigerians who are suffering, what this country needs is not someone like Tinubu or Atiku. If he was so good as you all proclaim, Lagos would have been like Dubai by now and not where he controls almost all assets and makes any of his boys Governor. It is not about proferring solutions to the country's problems and be speaking English upandan. Even Yemi Osibanjo do that one pass but still what has he achieved?. Actions speaks way louder than words abeg. |

States that has the capacity to generate their own power must be allowed to do so, if OBJ had allowed this man do Lagos power back then it would have being a different story today. |

But it’s hard Sha. You want to be President Your wife is a Senator. Your Daughter is Iyaloja Your Son is Advertising Guru for State Accounts. Your Newspaper is the official organ for several South Western States. Your TV station is the official paid propaganda channel of several southern states. "You collect Tax Revenue as a Consultant for Lagos State. You own almost all the remaining valuable real estate in Lagos. You own a private Hospital inside the State Teaching Hospital in Ikeja. "You own burial grounds and mortuaries with your wife in Lagos. Your wife is the official supplier of Diesel to all Lagos state formations and generators powering all street lights in Lagos. You control directly all the machinery of Government in at least 6 states. "Unless there is something else that is wrong with you and your head, what are you looking for in the Presidency? If you have managed the resources and states you control very well, we would be the ones calling for you to be President. Copied** |

Obeysco:How is he part of the problem? Has he ever dictated issues authoritatively from the center as OBJ, Jonathan and Buhari have had the opportunity to do? If you're going to blame him for supporting Buhari to power then you must also blame the 15 million Nigerians who voted Bubari to be President. Let us raise the bar of our thinking. Below is the problem of Nigeria per electrification. How anyone can accuse Tinubu of complicity in what is shown below, if we truly understand the meaning of national grid, is beyond me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlk5Qhlmpcc |

M1Garand:Yaradua was a dying man. He didn't serve for long for us to know his intentions. Buhari started well with many hopes... The #body_odour era. There was almost constant light and many sectors sat up but with time, he revealed his true colours. But wait... Why do you all like circulating leadership? These are same people who had been in power before, yet Nigeria is upsidedown. |
