Hi respected fellows, I have been following this forum for more than 5 years and really appreciate the good work people are doing to show thier follow men an women the genuine way for successful application here. God bless.
I recently got a PhD admission at Dalhousie university with resumption date of September, 2022. As a lecturer, I'm hoping to fund the program through TETFUND in my place of work. I also desire to go with my spouse and three children. As a plan B, I wish to go through the process of self-funding. Guru in the house, please lend your boy a helping hands to get answers to the following questions:
1. Amount that will be enough to move with a family of five for a PhD program
2. Documentation required for smooth application
3. Is it necessary to do upfront medicals to facilitate the process.
Thank you as I await your response.

IT ENDED IN PRAISE OHHHH
I am a silent reader and I won’t be happy if I don’t share my testimony.
I applied for study visa in September for January 2022 and I was rejected because of a mistake I made.
I deferred my admission to September 2022 and I re- applied on the 14th of February 2022.
I got my PPR on the 23rd of February 2022.

It can only be God.
I have received my passport back Months before I am to resume. I don’t even know if I should go early or wait till July/August
I am so happy and excited for this my Miracle.
It would definitely end in Praise.

Wow
So fast
Congratulations to you o

What about Abuja please?
Anon123:

For the police certificate, kindly go to Alagbon police state CID in ikoyi. Its cheap(depending on your bargaining prowess) and its a few mins thing, you are given the police certificate.

For medicals, you book for it.

Either visit IOM in Ikeja or Qlife family clinic in VI.
Google the two names, you will get their site to book.

Good day everyone. I was rejected a tourist visa to the USA and I'm currently applying for a study Visa to Canada. During the course of filling out my application form, I was asked if I have ever been rejected a visa in Canada or any country. Will saying 'yes' affect my chances of getting a Canadian study visa? Should I say no? Is there a way they track my visa denial history?

Thank you for your urgent response.

Please don't try to hide a previous rejection. These countries share information.

I would advise you go for YES. It won't affect your chance of getting an approval.

Be honest! Trust God. Have my best wishes.

That's my 2cents.

My good people,

Thought I should ask for experience or knowledge of good masters in business admin or management programs before I enter google.

"The applicant's plan of studies appears vague and poorly documented given applicant's last level of studies obtained in the field and
applicant's employment experience, purpose does not appear reasonable."

Definitely a masters cos of my refusal based on purpose of visit; progression and experience-related
Need to rerun this level with proper care and guidance this time.

Hi

If your work experience and job description at the Administration and Human Resources Department of that Organization is HR related, go for a PG.Cert in Human Resources Management program at a college, reasons are, you have no Academic background in HR, but you have a Work Experience on it.

Below are Colleges offering Human Resources Management at PG. CERT level

Take your time to explore (google) each schools to see the one that suits you

Going for another Masters won't look convincing to a Visa Officer cos you are already a Masters degree holder, going for another Masters shows no Academic/Career Progression

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Omiinii: 8:45pm On Mar 21, 2022
It's great you asked this question and didn't do things based on your own discretion. I'd be square with you.
Be truthful, Click yes, that you've been refused US visa. The refusal from US will be a part of your assessment. I'd be lying if I told you that they just ignore it and thank God you said the truth. But that refusal would never constitute as the reason to the final decision for your CA application. As far you qualify you'll get your visa, 100%

If you Click No, and be dishonest. It goes down hill from there. At best you'll be refused. In the worst case, you'll be banned for 5 years.

Goodluck with your application. God bless.

Congrats!!!

Hello Nuliaa

I will advise you should be honest and truthful in your application.

Declaring you have been refused Visa in the US will not have any negative effect in getting your Canadian Study permit Visa, and it does not also affect your Eligibilty for a study permit visa..

So what will you now say of applicants here who have been refused Visa in Canada in the past and are now in Canada..

But if you deny your previous Visa refusal in Canada or any country, be rest assured that Canada will find out.. Not even a country like the US whose relationship with Camada is like 5 and 6.. And when they find out, you will be given a 5 year BAN for misinterpretation..

So do your self a favor by being honest and truthful about your previous refusals..

Peace

No relent bro, keep sending email. Go with this logic starting from tomorrow morning, I don’t know if it works oooo don’t quote me on that but sha try it, I also cop it here from one of our own here that got PPR and I got my own decision.

If you have the time send email every 1hrs till 2pm 9ja time. Use different sample email, don’t just do copy and paste, if you have a writing skill too pon on that but don’t be rude or sound desperate with your email.

I wish everyone waiting for a decision good news soonest.. Overflowing of PPR this week IJN Amen.

Different email samples with a bit different structure WhaoO.

From which center you got update or response back, nairobi, abuja, lagos, london or accra?

While sending emails, how many weeks or days within did you got response and decision?
