This is my line up except Balogun for Ekong, this midfield is very average but it is the best we have

Exactly, chief! Perhaps they might consider the "Oyinbo wall" tho.

This is lethal for me. Except for the fact that Eguavoen can't start new comers immediately.

Uzoho as Goalkeeper
What about our best player at the AFCON, where is he?

Please, this heat in Abuja wey I dey feel so, no way someone who has lived all his life in England will come and play ball under this sort of heat, make he no dey disoriented, even more in a hostile stadium.

And I know say as heat dey here, na so E go dey for Ghana. You no fit compare African heat with anything for Western Europe.

I don't know about Chuks, maybe Dennis can take up his flank, but in good faith, I wouldn't start a Lookman against Ghana.

Africa is really hot, we all know that; especially West Africa.
I doubt if he will start, but if he does, the heat shouldn't be an excuse for his performance. Haller of Ivory coast scored on his debut for Ivory Coast.
The heat shouldn't be a problem.

Uzoho is the one available. Okoye is ill and ruled out from the Derby.

Of course Lookman will acclimatize himself and do better, but to start against those hardened banku boys? Nah.

Yaw and Bukari are very solid wingers! Kudus, Partey and Issiaku are solid midfielders. Going all out attack or playing one DM will be catastrophic! The Ghanaians players are good and skillful too. It's just that we have a better bench. Our first team is not that far apart. Don't expect an easy game in Kumasi. Infact a scoring draw will be a very good result. I don't really trust our defense and goalkeepers!
even their coach is world class

Yeah he will. But that won't be the major fact for not playing him imo. Banku boys go jam am for MAS. cool

grin ohh. Thought you typed Goalkeeper. Lol
Simon Moses is good. He did just fine in the AFCON. His problem is that he needs to know when to stop dribbling and pass the damn ball! In the game against Tunisia he probably let those "praises" into his head. Man probably was thinking he was prime Messi grin. He became a ballhog in the game. Killin our offense in the process and making us look toothless. Precision, Technicality and Tactical in-depth is key.

Ekong is not active right now so I would prefer Balogun with Ajayi, I think they compliment each other

I think we are being unfair to Okoye, and we are still relying on what Uzoho has done in the past. Since his long time injury he hasn't gotten to that particular peak he had then while Okoye has gone on to win the Eradivise keeper of the year( by a magazine or so) and got a transfer to EPL say a lot
Okoye might be shaky in the GWG but we have two different coaches who still prefer Okoye to Uzoho, that should tell us how NAD he has decline. Uzoho has only played 13 games this season and we all know how important playing is for a Keeper.
Not saying Okoye has been decent in GWG but thinking Uzoho will be better is not it. The better we accept he is the best among them for now and keep searching for a better Goalkeeper the better

Seriously I will like to see what kudus and partey will bring to the table . quite unfortunate we will miss ndidi. Once we can make these guys quiet, the job is half done.

People on this forum will rate someone who was in form FOUR YEARS AGO over someone who is in form currently just to suit their bias.

I just tire.
