A Corps Member serving in Odi community, Bayelsa State, has shared photos showing the poor state of the Corpers Lodge where they live.

"Situation in Odi Bayelsa Corpers lodge. Maybe they should scrap NYSC. We can’t be suffering" he tweeted on Thursday.

And Bayelsa is a marshy and rainy area coupled with this type of situation. It's surely hell. I'll relocate sharply, it isn't healthy for we women who use the toilet.

My corpers' lodge was like this that year, but even though I wasn't around fully, I organized cleaners whom we paid for an extensive cleaning. After that, you dare not go near the toilet without a full bucket of clean water because someone is watching you. Sometimes it boils down to personal hygiene and our lack of maintenance culture
