Looking at that picture from op, one starts to wonder why a bombed building is still standing upright on its structure. This is a diversion from the traditional warfare that demolishes structures and properties.

I'm thinking Russia has different capacity explosives. The type used in this picture does not demolish, nonetheless it destroys cavities of standing buildings. It would suggest Russia intends to preserve these buildings for rebuild. Why would an enemy preserve assets from the ruins of war?

Is Russia planning a long term strategy to use Ukraine as a buffer territory? This is called between a stone and a hard rock, Ukraine could become the new age East Germany as West and East face off in a new era cold-war.
