Zenith has replied that I should send screenshots and everything to them. I already did.

Will keep the thread update. Will be getting a small tecno phone tomorrow cos my freelancing biz must not he affected.

Before you blame me, pls I am not a novice. I have bought things from NL. My macbook, plenty phones and about 4 PS3s

They stole my phone last week and I came to NL to search for deals and get another one.

This gregswagzz posted mi 9t for 75k. Pls search his name on NL to see his profile

I contacted him on WhatsApp and we talked. I said I would use escrow but he said he doesn't use escrow.

I know a lot of sellers don't like using escrow. Even when I got my macbook from Fluxempire, I didn't use escrow. In this case, I make sure the account is not new and that the person has always been posting.

I checked him up, his account is over 9 years old and I noticed he has posted a lot of things on NL.

Still, I said I can't pay that I will only pay if he can take my phone to park the following day, call me on video call and then I will pay.

He did exactly that yesterday, we video called, I saw the phone wrapped and my details on it.

I told to switch to back camera and I noticed its really Peace Park office. He later got the drivers number for me to track the driver. He also kept in touch with me yesterday but today, I went to park, they said I need a code to get the package.

He didn't give me a code. He is not replying on WhatsApp and the driver's number is not going too. Since this morning. His number is not going like he has blocked me.

I have his account details I sent money to. Pls who can help me!

UPDATE:

I went to park again just now, a guy there was really helpful and helped us contact Benin park. The supervisor there said he came truly (Yeah I talked with him on video) and that they said waybill is 5k. He then refused to pay 5k and went out.

What I don't know is if he arranged with someone there (maybe driver) and paid less cos he asked me to 3.5k which I priced to 3k for waybill. Or maybe he didn't send at all.

Problem is, I can't talk to him. Can't talk to the so called driver. Can't talk to anyone.

Really bro, no slot here. And also, I always use escrow but as I have said, some sellers don't use escrow. This is really painful. If he doesn't reply still, I will go to bank tomorrow and have his account blocked.

He told me he sent through office. Packages are always sent through office in peace park unless you wan give driver directly. But I told him to get driver's number for me just so I can keep in touch. Me and him talked that yesterday before he took off.

I was only able to reach out to him yesterday night after using a friends phone cos mine was not connecting (maybe he blocked mine)

He said he was almost at my place but I said I would come this morning cos it was late already.

You should be suspicious when he said no escrow, that's how they do on jiji, they actually went to the park, but the goods is returning with them to the house.

Let's say after getting the phone and it has some issues what will you do. In Nigeria, everybody is a potential thief just many haven't been given the opportunity yet. The only people I trust is my immediate family.

Sorry to hear about this, Sir. Not sure I understand what many seem to gain through scams. Profit of how much that would finish in no time? Pls, try both his and the driver's number and if none of them pulls through, go to his bank very early tomorrow and also your bank to report the case if both banks are different but before going to the bank, pls, ensure you write a letter directing it to the branch manager concerning this case so that the banks won't waste your time by telling you to go and prepare a letter to forward to them.

Have 2 copies for each of the banks, Sir. I pray you find success in this case, Sir.

Go to the bank very early tomorrow.

Don't wait. If he calls you to chill a bit, do not listen to him.

Online purchase of goods is no longer trustworthy.You for tell am to do a video with the driver while you speak directly to him and also send you the waybill number.One on one business is the ultimate.
Meanwhile Post his number here.Let's bombard him with calls to refund your money or get arrested.
