Very rare, in fact, extremely rare. 5 years CoS is 5k pounds and most organisations wont want to pay that amount for someone they are not sure of. 3 years CoS has been the norm for a long time now

That is what I just want to confirm, that if I can get the COS, proof of funds and other required documents that I will get the Visa

Alternatively, instead of selling that car at a loss, why don't you use it as collateral and obtain loan. Sort out the visa stuff, and return part of the money to the person while you sort out the remaining balance gradually.

It is a win win situation I think.

Most of these care homes are classified as small organisations.

With less than 2k, you can get sponsored for 5years.

People do get it

For such a critical appointment, your only question or thought should b how to get there early enough. Distance is about 4 hours excluding traffic. So you really need to start your journey very well.

They are DESPERATELY short staffed in the UK and all agencies are looking for workers but the oyibos are not answering them because they get monetary benefits that pays more than full time Care job.

I will need to set up some sort of consultation on LinkedIn and can start meeting the Care and Nursing agencies soon ( Or even the NHS directly)
I believe they will ask for your application and forward their interest and pre employment letter to the home office too.

Same here...got my offer on March 1st.
No response/ update from them till now.
This waiting game is not funny.

And I don't want to disturb them so as not to look desperate. I don't know what to do now.

The new tax year is April which is when it's expected to rain CoS. Your best bet is to email them if you've submitted all documents requested. You can't look desperate when you're seeking information that concerns you helping their organisation.

If you don't get a reply then call. After that, it's a waiting game
