Right. Looking at her picture, not surprised seeing her. She does look alot older for her age.

Girls who matured much earlier were the ones who wanted to look grow beyond their years with revealing clothing and make-up. If your daughter was a tomboy or a late bloomer. She'll have wanted to look like a child for much longer.

This one is an over-bloomer! She is bigger than most 17 year olds. With make up, she looks 18!

Her shoes are already SIZE 10!

good evening Auntie Kanwulia. Longest time and how are you doing? Trust you are good.

@topic, when we were growing up as teenagers during our time, who born you to wear skimpy clothes? Who even will buy for you?
There was a lot of discipline by our parents.
Children of these days no dey hear word both home and abroad. The social media has worsened everything by interfering in their upbringing. Abeg hold your daughter wella. No mind the yeye police people

The kids get it from their friends or buy it with money they've saved up.

Ha.

On a real note sis, limit what she eats.

If she looks like this now, it's only gonna get worse as she gets older.

I personally went through a similar experience with one of my daughters.
She loved to dress provocatively at THIRTEEN!

One day she wore this::
I appealed to her nicely that it was 42 degrees outside and she had to change this outfit it I would drive her to school.

She refused and did not take her to school. I don’t know how she got to school.

When she returned, I told her she could not enter my house o. I RIPPED THE SKIRT OFF HER ARSE RIGHT THERE BY THE MAILBOX with only her UNDERWEAR on her and locked her OUT OF MY HOUSE. She stayed in the garage and told her she should only come in to use the bathroom. She called the police and told them I was freezing her outside. grin

OMO!

See SWAT TEAM for front of my house? shocked

There were TEN of them in 6 police vehicles.
They told me I MUST LET HER INTO THE HOUSE. because it was too cold! I refused.
I told them it was her punishment for disobedience and she is locked out of my house for 4 hours.

I provided her with a space heater, some clothes, a pillow and blankets to SLEEP on the floor!

The police told me she had EVERY RIGHT to be inside the house. I told them to have me arrested if I was breaking any law.

The useless white cops left!
Imagine the embarrassment in front of ALL the neighbors? My husband was SPEECHLESS!

There should always be an avenue to return your kids back to Nigeria or their African if they have passports already. Nigeria is a safe space for kids to learn respect for at least one or two years before they return again.

This is something i take very important and that's why this Western enforcement of Nigeria accepting their form of Libéralism doesn't go well with me.

Take them back to Africa and let them learn.

I am super sure i can't be caught in this situation.

Did she learn from having to go to the ER?

Growing up I was never given more than 2 snacks a day.

Even as an adult I feel guilty when I overindulge.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR CHILDREN CALL THE POLICE ON JHOOOOO!

1. NEVER-NEVER-NEVER leave marks on your kids when you spank them. If you leave marks on their bodies, YOU ARE A GONNER!✅

Tell them to open their hands and spank them on their PALMS. Good luck with that, because they will refuse to open their palms and will proceed to running ALL OVER THE HOUSE. You will have a stroke chasing them from room to room.

I wait till they are sleeping, lock the door and the shows begins!✅

Thank you!
The kids have allowances ke.
Children start earning money for chores as from 10 years old. So they learn how to manage money and SAVE to buy birthday gifts for their friends.

Besides, no BAGA or MAGA will trick them to some dark alley to offer them $10 for turning tricks, because they don’t have money of their own.

On top of all the "African disciplining, the average African from 12 years is corrupt.
A westerner will turn a new leaf because he wants to be a better person, an African will turn a new leaf because there is a likelihood to be caught and disgraced or jailed.

At 12 years an African child in boarding house will try to BRIBE the gate men to let them go out indiscriminately. At 12 introducing their classmates to cultism as long as they do not get caught. At 12 multiple abortions claiming to be virgins. Certified runs girl at 15.
Upon all the disciplining.

No, africans are not law- abiding, empathetic and less corrupt. It was over here I saw that on a bus younger people stand up to allow older people, pregnant women and disabled people to sit down. I never saw it in Nigeria.

Over here UPS and DHL drops your package in front of your door. The package remains there until you come home at night and pick it. It cannot happen in Nigeria. Since I started buying cars I have locked car doors less than 5 times. Sometimes I forget to lock my door.

Upon all our discipline.
Aunty, the standard of living yonder is higher than Nigeria so this example doesn't have any substance.

Let me let you know how fast these little boys and girls can be IF YOU DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL.

1. Girls can suck **** to make money!✅
There are reports of 10 year olds having ****-sucking competitions in school bathrooms and behind school buses FOR MONEY!✅

2. I did not assault anyone. The police were infringing on my parental rights and thought they could intimidate me.

3. Yes! That little lady is 13!✅
We went to a kid’s party one day, before I knew what was happening, she had mascara and lipstick on. One DUDE called me and ask why I let her out of the house like that. I said I didn’t. She just went to the bathroom and did it. cheesy I totally ignored her. She wanted me to make a scene in public. I did not fall for it.

When we got home, we suspended her phone and electronic privileges for SIX MONTHS!✅

This is a STRAIGHT As student. We are talking TWO GRADE CLASSES above her age. But she wanno hang with the big girls! Some spoiled, rich white kids in their school are teaching them about “independence”! cheesy

I was a teenager in Nigeria, not in the US. We did not have such latitude.

This is the age of Snapchat and Tik Tok. You can’t compare.

Example:

I worked at a psych facility last year.
One 11 y/o boy was sent there by his mother or aunt/guardian. Guess what he was doing?
Jesus.

We need more threads like this one from people like you who are actually experienced in these issues, not all these singles in this forum giving marital advice and teaching parents how to raise kids.

She left medical school and went to camp in Oyakhilome’s church in Lagos. . . To be doing “ASHAWO-in-Christ” for dia! While in the cult, they BLOCKED ALL FAMILY MEMBERS PHONE #s from her phone. She refused to talk to any of us.

2. You will be arrested and charged with domestic violence if you spank your child and leave bruises and whelps ANYWHERE on their body.✅

This is how the police operates WITH BLACK FAMILIES ONLY! They will NEVER humiliate white families like this o!

I'm sorry I'm your daughter is dressing provocatively at 13, isn't that a highlight of your parenting?

And what if she got raped while she was outside in just her underwear?
Highlight of her parenting ke? I beg to differ. undecided

Kids who dress provocatively aren't necessarily kids who are not properly trained. They are just kids who want to dress that way. undecided

The reason we have effective law enforcement and criminal laws in place is so as to protect even the kids when they go astray or dress provocatively. undecided
