I don't really understand what it mean by keeping passport and paid for it. Can you explain further?
If I choose to keep my passport to myself till decision is made I pay for it what about keeping it with TLS do I need to also pay for it ?
I understand about assistant service which I pay for uploading document but If I choose self service where I do the uploading documents myself do I still have the option to drop or keep my passport?
Thanks in advance
usually dey take your passprt on the biometrics day. There is no charge. If you say you need your passport to be with you during the time of your visa duration, you pay for ‘keep my passport’ option. 27k
Anytime dey decide on ur application, when they receive information from UKVI they can then call u to submit ur passport then.
This is different from uploading documents electronically. Doc upload. 2 options. Self service. No fee and u do the documents attaching electronically urslf. No biggie.
Other option is assisted service, the official partner which is TLS does the document attaching electronically for u but at a cost- 12k

Please I need to get this clearer. Self Service u said is free and one can only do the documents uploading himself or herself while Assisted Service, all documents will be in A4 size and TLS will do the uploading themselves at a fee of about 12k.
Now I want to know, is there going to be a payment to do at TLS on the appointment day, if I chose Self Service. That is after doing all the documents upload at home myself free. I'm I expected to pay for anything again on that day. If u upload ur papers urslf, u will need to do it before coming for biometrics. It is self service = no charge.
For Assisted Service, I have my documents and 12k for the uploading service by TLS, I'm I still going to pay another money aside the 12k on that day. If u need other services like premium lounge etc yes u will pay for those.. if u dnt need then u only lay for services u need.
Again, for them to assist u in uploading docs u pay 12k that day and carry ur load there
Make una try check their website all dis information dey dia

Hello Gurus in this thread
As a first time UK visa applicant I need a clarification : when applying for UK visit visa as a business owner.
Is it compulsory to add tax clearance certificate? NO but if added, its a good one
Is it also compulsory to add business bank statement YES
or only personal account that shows payments receive from business account as salary? BOTH
If I choose to upload all my documents do I still need to go to embassy with those documents? NO
Should i also upload my expired visas from other country ? DOUBLE YES
Thanks you in advance

If you have further proof of your business, go ahead and apply, but if its a business that you cant provide documents for, please register the CAC right away and open a business account, then ensure all transactions is paid there, while you pay yourself salary into your personal account, and you can apply towards the end of the year

Good morning.

So, my sister is a medical doctor at an NHS in Norwich. She wants to sponsor my Visit visa trip plus Accommodation and feeding for the period I will be there with her. We have the same surname and she will be giving me her 6 months statement of account from her bank over there to apply for the visa.

I have a business that I do but I only use my personal account to do transactions for my business. I don’t have a CAC either as proof of being a business person, just the descriptions on each transactions I make; money coming in and out. Sometimes 400k and above comes in and out of my account for a year now. Can I use my personal bank statement as for the 6 months statement of accounts or that won’t be possible?

OR
Do I just open a business account and start over from the beginning?

Please I need advice on what to do, I am a nurse. I did Ielts academic as required. Please advice on what to do.

Go and read through your checklist again. You must have ticked that box that says your education was taught in English instead of saying NO. If that was what you did, you would need your school transcript to show that your courses were done in English.

Alternatively, may be you need to explain in your feedback to UKVI

I will need to register a CAC for the business and open a business account to make it official. Will apply later at the end year then.
The issue about paying myself salary is that I always turn over every profit I make monthly in the business to buy more items and keep making more profits.

Maybe not. Unless you went for priority (1-3) days services, which currently is not available.

Yes it’s affecting most applications but you shouldn’t have stopped unless you have decided not to go anymore, as someone else pointed out the priority option would have been the best, but they stopped that recently to focus a bit more on the Ukraine thing. Either way put your application in ASAP, good luck and hope you get the right decision and enjoy your sis wedding.

I visited UK a in 2006 before the introduction of the biometrics with 6months multiple visa, I spent 3months and came back b4 the visa expired. I did drop box and I was denied.
In 2008 after the introduction of the E-passport in 2008 I was misled and deceived and was made to applied for a visiting visa again, this time around not with my real names and my biometrics was taken at UK Visa application center, at the end the visa was denied. Right now I want to genuinely seeking a study visa to do a postgraduate masters in social work in United kingdom. Pls, I need to know what are the necessary things to do in order to be transparent to clarify this. Thanks in anticipation.

Pls I need your humble piece of advice in here. I am in a dilemma.
I need to rewrite this wrong at the British high commission in Nigeria. How do go about this with my finger print biometrics linked with another name totally different from my real names, pls note I was naive then and misled to apply with another person's details but with my own finger print 14 years ago.

Boss honestly I doubt there is a way around this. Your biometrics is linked to another name! Not sure if there is a way back from that. It’s great that you are being truthful and maybe that is the only way forward, by applying and telling them exactly what had happened in the past, the ECO might like your honesty.

Maybe there are some posters who might have experience of someone who had been in your shoes, I would like to know how they went about it too.

Maybe another country would be an option for your course/studies? Hope you haven’t paid for the course yet.

Anyways good luck. And I hope this is a lesson for younger people who are seeking a quick get out and listening to wrong advice, we all make mistakes when we are younger.

How old were you when the application with someone else's details was made? Whom made the application? It's a 50/50 situation even though you've obviously spent out the ban that this situation usually attracts. If you end up applying, be 100% truthful about the refusal and the situation around it. Also ensure that all your docs/information are genuine, in line with UKVI student visa rules and can hold up under the most stringent scrutiny. You might or might not get it.
But 1st, you need to get a school to assign you CAS before your visa application- that will be a uphill task with many schools due to the circumstances surrounding your previous refusal.

Gurus I need you to come to my aid.

My uncle is inviting me to the UK and I applied for a standard visitor visa I opted for self-service and I want to ask if I made my arrangement right as I am doing this on my own

Travel/Residence - My old passport data page and visa pages with new passport data page and visa pages to South Africa, Dubai etc.

Financial Evidence- I attached my 6-month salary account statement, i explained the transactions in my salary account and spending accounts.

Employment evidence - CAC cerificate of my business, tax clearance cert.

Sponsor evidence - my brother residency card, letter of invitation, passport, and birth cert.

Other- Statement of purpose, my family pictures etc.

Should my brother residency card be in family status or sponsor evidence.

Please gurus help me.

So once you have paid the visa fees and IHS fees you would be redirected to the TLS Website. That’s where you choose which service that you want. You can choose a self service, assisted service etc.

Self service (You get to upload everything by yourself, stuffs like Bank statements, payslips, sponsors letters, accommodations etc or whatever is on your checklist)..

Assisted service (You would print off all your documents in A4 size and take it there for them to check over for you).

See the screenshot below.

Hello, everyone. I booked an appointment at TLS for the 31st. Now I can't make it due to personal reasons. If I make amendments, will there be any effects. I also requested for a refund for one the services I paid for in error. Would that be affected?

I doubt. Limit on Naira Mastercard is $20 or something ridiculous like that. You can use Barter's USD virtual card. Their rate is pegged with the black market exchange rates
