They will fix our electricity problem, track records are pertinent, remember GEJ who recorded an income of $500b in oil revenue,
Present performance and competence matters most, then followed by track record. Fashola had a good track record on infrastructural development in Lagos and Buhari had good record on Corruption in the the 80's.
Currently they are total failures.

He didn't add booking fee. If u add booking fee, then u can deduct 25%.
I can't believe we r still explaining commission uptil now. Booking fee isn't part of the fare for the upteenth time, therefore u can't say Bolt is charging u 25%

Bolt is just being clever by half. When you guys do advert of 100 thousand weekly and pay your yearly rent in One month you do total calculation of the whole gross. Intentionally being clever by half misleading comrades to go piss on thier boss heads. Uber add everything including booking fee under thier commission abi who bolt dey give the booking fee? Bolt add every money made including the so called service charge, thier commission, parking and toll fee as weekly/monthly earning to pay house rent.
I just pity who decide to follow the words of one or two people words say millions monthly of all the bunch of people saying otherwise... And pls nobody should even get me started on strategy dis and dat. From inception practically all strategy has be exhausted here yet someone will say you have to register something something. I can’t drive on these platforms anymore, it’s taking my sanity, plus Bolt will soon block me sef so I might as well go out with a bang!

It’s funny you don’t get compensated for trips were you drive and passenger cancels, instead you get points deducted.

Indriver is even worse, some passengers will stop picking their phone.

I’d like to say it has been fun, but it hasn’t, and my car has been through so much.

Then the riders that treat you like dirt, as if they own the car. Spits...

Drivers are trying men, no lie!

Let’s not forget the traffic, then having to pick someone in traffic, then they cancel, chai! You’d almost run mad, God forbid.

Even 600 naira trips, they still take their 25%

That’s why you will drive and drive, yet you can’t even afford to put tyre on the car.

I’m wondering if all these platforms aren’t demonic in a way to suck the life out of our cars while making money in the process.

Decided to test the road yesterday morning.... around 10.30 am. As Bolt don require me to do 9 trips for 7 hrs and hit 2k. Picked a rider around bariga on a card trip to omole ph1. I exchanged pleasantries and locked up. She noh know say I be yoruba, as many do ask if I was Hausa. Na so she begin call like 3 people say make dem che k phone say she dey share her ride with them oo. I was so impressed as she was security conscious but she need not hide it from me. Must of what drivers face out there are caused by drivers... though some riders have excesses too but some drivers noh dey try. Greed kills faster..... do your part and let God handle the rest.

This got me cracking and as well made me remember a bolt driver I met at Italian school Lekki phase one were our bolt driver's relax by noon, he was like he's getting exhausted and that what gives him money now is bet9ja, bolt gives him money for bet9ja. Another driver same location said' he's looking for a buyer for his Toyota Corolla. Bolt is so heartless, my advice to fellow comrades is to try and have other sources of income. Use the proceeds to go to school if you are not educated, or venture into a business, although business success is usually through strength of mind honesty and perseverance and not necessarily by uptaining Harvard or Oxford certificates.

B4 we vote, for any of these politicians let’s look at their track records, both Tinubu and Peter Obi have good track records and are worth voting for, that is not to say they are clean, both are crooks, but extremely creative gentleman when it comes to IGR.
They will fix our electricity problem, track records are pertinent, remember GEJ who recorded an income of $500b in oil revenue,

My dear learned colleague pls stop using the word Will. You do not know these guys, they can't be trusted at all.

Talking about Peter Obi, he's a better candidate among other PDP aspirants so I'd loved to see PDP hands over the flag to him to wave because he's the only Fmr. Gov without any question being raised after leaving office, he saves about 75b for Anambra state and brought the state up to speed, and was the best governor in Nigeria all through out his tenor. He's still young. Healthy and a successful business man.

But because of patrician politics I don't see PDP handling the presidential ticket to Obi because the weight he will be contesting with is heavier than him. The North won't vote for him, politics is a game of popularity and not competence. Since PDP is aiming at taking back power I'm very sure they'll project either Atiku or the othe Hausa guy (forgotten is name now) just to get the Northern vote.

Atiku is the only candidate I see has a chance against Tinubu.

PDP should come together to a consensus like they did in the last combo, ATIKUvsOBI ticket if not they'll lose again to the ruling party. And then Peter Obi can then come up after Atiku is done with his tenor.

Nigeria politics is very technical only a few can play. Mind you baba (Tinubu) is a guru in politics so he'll give PDP a run for their power.

The is one of the annoying part of this business, nah this kind trip dey spoil car shocks, if the trip come get 50% discount nah one dey pain pass come kill morale join grin

One painful experience years back like 2019, I won't forget was day i carried 3 hefty guys and 1 lady from ShopRite Alausa to Lagos Island with foodstuffs and provisions in large quantity, 2bag of rice, big gallons of grannutdoil.

When I got their to destination and ended the trip, I was crying on the inside. App showed: collect ₦1600 Bolt will compensate you the remaining ₦1200.

Since then excess passenger or excess luggage is not my kind of trip anymore, I do not waste time to cancel and decline that kind of trip

How I can carry 4 people and heavy items in my Booth and be paid ₦1600 on a journey of 25Km and 1hour 15mins. It's demoralising and enslaving, even detrimental to my car. Yellow taxi will not take nothing less than ₦5000 on this trip.

Some drivers who do useless unprofitable trip like this don't maintain and repair cars. They do not know what cost of maintenance is all about.

Some drivers who do useless unprofitable trip like this don't maintain and repair cars. They do not know what cost of maintenance is all about.

There was a day I got a request and got to pickup point and saw a set of split unit and a big generator, the lady already commanded me to drive inside the compound so I bluntly told her I will collect extra money in addition to the fare.
She refused and was saying it's the car that's carrying it and the destination didn't change, kaii I almost change am for the lady but I managed to hold myself.
That statement struck to me as an insensitive one, I even reminded her that the cars needs to be maintained too and loads make them wear out faster.
She didn't seem to get it until I told her that if it's flight won't she pay for excess luggage?
Besides she may end up paying more than she's paying for her flight for that load unless she want to cargo it, I left there when she told her brother I am not ready to do the trip only for one coro to come pack everything and zoom off.
