Anambra Governor Charles Soludo has sent a list of 20 Commissioner-nominees to the Anambra State House of Assembly.

He sent the list 12 days after his inauguration, failing to meet up with his one- week promise to submit the list.

The list had some of former Governor Willie Obiano’s men and two reporters from the State owned Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).

They are: Nollywood actor Mr Don Onyenji and Mrs Ifenyinwa Obinabo, who later served as Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North local government area.

Onyenji would serve as Commissioner for Entertainment, Culture and Tourism while Obinabo was nominated as Commissioner for Women’s Affairs..

Some of Obiano’s former appointees were: Mr Paul Nwosu, whose name appeared on Information; Ifeatu Onejeme for Finance; Hon Collins Nwabunwanne local government and Chieftancy Matters and Chief Chikodi Anara, Home Land Affairs and others.

Prof Chika Ifejeme was nominated to serve as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, among others.

I was worried about having a medical doctor oversee Ministry of Agriculture but googling Dr. Forster Ihejiofor, I discovered that though a medical doctor, he is also a passionate practical farmer.

Well, given sometimes, innovative agricultural programmes are more about practical ideas than pushing existing practices, I will give him a benefit of the doubt. Perhaps, he had shared some impressive agricultural development ideas with Gov. Soludo to warrant this appointment. Perhaps!

When we ndị Anambra heard that Soludo's name will be on the ballot box,we knew that he definitely would win because of his pedigree and we all have him our unwavering support

We know he is credibie enough to lead us to the promise Land and he has started on a good note in identifying his team and he didn't waste time in appointing into their r various positions

We are in high expectations that he will do better than Peter Obi bad also amend the mistakes of Willie Obiano
