BascoVanVeli:We had shots not shots on target. The attack was very disjointed and there was no gameplan. We can't even score an open play goal against a poor Ghanian team. It is not ridiculous to blame the coach. Ghana buffed up the midfield at the second half and neutralized us, yet Eguavoen was pushed in multiple attackers. You have three poachers. Who will feed them. Why was lookman even taken off early So many questions. We need a better coach simple. Eguavoen is just using this team to break negative records. 6 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: You are just attacking. You are not really making a point. Today, I became bitter because I have seen we will not play the way I want and also we have influences that will not allow it happen. For instance, we needed Iheanacho towards the end. But, he must play Ighalo. No one should tell me anything, it is influenced. Iheanacho is the only striker we have that can drop deep and hit a decent pass. He is good at crossing. He has a good shooting range. Should Musa come in ahead of someone like Amoo? 5 Likes |

You have come again....luck would have been a karma if we had qualify. Ghana were better in both legs. Game management and tactical prowess was top notch. We never had a tactical coach.....still leaving in the old era of 1994. BascoVanVeli: |

Like I posted on Twitter: 100 percent of the blame should go to @PinnickAmaju and @thenff. You don’t fire your coach 6 months before your biggest tournament and your biggest qualifying games. That’s sheer madness. Let’s hope some folks will have the decency to resign! O pari 1 Like |

Which chances did Osihmen missed? Listen, we didn’t create even one clear cut chance over the two legs. Victor buried the only chance he had but unfortunately he was offside. We played without a system, hence we couldn’t create chances. Pumping high balls into the box isn’t creating chances. Our problem in these two games was 100% tactical. O pari COOL10: 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon: You make a statement like I look for everything to support my point no matter how unreasonable it is. The truth is that the statement you just made has no basis. That why you chose an attacking mode. I am not supporting any point. I was devastated to read that the coach said he put a name to pacify someone. I decided to talk about it after the playoffs. This came from influence and you can not tell me it ended at Onazi. This goes against my principle. I want thorough screening and selection for each role. Scrap the experience and senior players talk. Select the best in each role and select a system that suits them. Pacifying people goes totally against this principle and it is the politicians in the NFF that needed pacification. So how am I trying to support my point? 1 Like |

Joezinho:Free Osimhen from this. How many chances was he fed with? Ghana in their aggressive style conceded over 20 freekicks in their half. We never made them pay for one. Not one proper cross. Lookman was delivering decent crosses yet got yanked off for Moses Simon to deliver set piece disasters. We know Osimhen is dangerous in the box. Why not practice feeding him with pinpoint crosses?? 1 Like |

Mention any tactical play or knowledge infused or you saw in the third phase of the field that would have resulted into goal. We played into the hand of the Ghanian coach tactic book. He was so confident in his tactics against our archaic coach that he never doubted his team would come out better even though he possessed lesser quality player. I doff my hat for coach Otto Ado.... Our own Ex- Internationals want to coach Super Eagles without a coaching badge or internship from a reputable club side in Europe. BascoVanVeli: |

Icon79: I repeat and will say it again. We need to get it right. Stop the short cuts. Qualifying for tournaments is mediocre. It means nothing. It is about making a big statement. Rohr was taking us no where. Even in the next 50years, unless we are okay with just qualifying. Eguavoen started well but somehow the yes sir thing came to play. At the end, we need to one day wake up and learn how to play football. If not, the cycle continues and we will stay satisfied with we qualified. 2 Likes |

Actually, I'm one of those guys that wanted a 3 man midfield. We got the midfield most of us requested for. We got the lineup most of requested for. Many guys here wanted Lookman and Dennis to start because we felt Simon and chukwueze dribbles too much . Some guys wanted Bassey over Sanusi cos they felt Bassey was so good in rangers and better than Sanusi. We got that. We got everything we asked for. We lost. Why did we lose? Poor coaching. I saw the eyes of the boys, they fought, they gave their all. People here saying that the foreign borns are lazy are just being petty. Players born in country of origin might have quite more hunger but it doesn't mean our foreign borns were lazy at all. Do you know that's the world cup? Is their anybody that'll just leave the opportunity to go to the world cup slide? Nigeria tried. We're giants. The day Nigeria stops these tribalism, nepotism and corruption, that's the day even the U.S will catch goosebumps. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Ppogbae: It's painful. I see some of my Nigerian brothers, switching sides and actin like rats already. They whimpering and disowning the darling team already. That shows they were plastic fans. Bruvv, I don't know what team you support, I don't know your clubside but I guess there was a time it was in it lowest ebb. Did you become a rat? Did you switch sides and curse that quick? In life, things happens. It can't be all smooth. It's no bed of roses but you have to keep moving and be on the better sides of history. We the Nigerian people should understand that. This pain is temporary. 1 Like |
