Nigeria Customs Service in charge of the Murtala Muhammed Area Command (MMAC), Lagos, says it has intercepted some drones and military wares allegedly being smuggled into the country by criminals.

The customs, which disclosed this on Tuesday, put the value of the items at over N300 million.

This is coming in less than 24 hours after bandits bombed a Kaduna-bound train, killing a yet-to-be ascertained number of persons.

Authorities in charge of MMAC said all the items seized would soon be handed over to the Nigerian Army and other relevant government agencies for further investigation.

2023 elections will be war

A presidential candidate has already made it clear in plain English that he is ready to fight ditty

Don't be surprised by what you see now because desperate politicians want to take over the affairs of the country by force and these are all preparations to show how desperate they can be

All these evil going on in Nigeria has a political undertone and that is why after 24 hours of the terror attack on the Abuja bound train, no arrest had been made and the presidency haven't cared to address Nigerians

They just carry military uniform put on top drones, to justify the seizure.

This is getting serious.

If security is not tightened we might be moving back to the state of nature.

These are hobbyist drones used by bloggers, videographers, video creators, etc., and not some military hardware or something.

I don't believe the uniform was imported with the drone. Why would a person import one military uniform with 5 military hats and a sneaker with this many drones? Doesn't make sense.

They probably belong to someone/a business looking to resell, and Customs is either uneducated enough on their uses or are trying to steal them in cooperation with the Army.

Very funny. You seize drones that videographers use in covering events and claim you seized weapons? Or are those not phantom drones I'm seeing there? You guys should go hunt down the bandits terrorising Nigerians in Kaduna axis and stop making a fool of yaselves

While our lazy youths are galavanting spreading hate and filling their head with sex, the country is gradually being surrounded, very soon the gun powder shall explode and Nigeria will become history.

This I have seen.

Well, that was how they intercepted guns in 2016.
Did you notice any similarity with what they intercepted back then and what unknown gun men are using?
Then the answer isn’t far fetched - Security breach is orchestrated, aided and abetted by the men in uniform.

Nigeria is a cruise... Chai, just look at the monumental disgrace of a custom service?

Just a simple look at the items and you would know these drones are just for commercial/recreational purpose and not military grade, which can be gotten from Aliexpress and other retail sites and all you need after purchasing it is a license to openly operate it. The military camouflage is also freely sourced from major retail sites.

But trust our quota system customs service and their rush to lable it smuggled because they have little or no idea about it.

Nigeria is a disgrace to the word country..... *spits*
