I am not sad because we lost (I saw it coming), I am sad because we are sliding towards the direction of a barren concrete building. We are constantly rebuilding yet we are not getting it right. I am even happy we lost because we would have been disgraced and pummeled at the WC..

The losers called players don't care.
grin Rohr with rickety football was pummeled by anyone in 2018 but we would have been pummeled in 2022

The players don't care

Comrade, delusion don enter this one oo

It's sickening that Osimhen is getting so much stick after the game. He is still a work-in-progress but it is difficult to question his commitment and application on the pitch. He is in fact, one of the reasons I felt bad about the loss.

I still maintain my previous stance. The tie was about bragging rights between NGA and Ghana, nothing more. This tie has produced one of Africa's weakest reps in Qatar.

Our bredas should be proud if their team manages to get a point before heading home....not like NGA would have fared any better though.

If it’s osimehn it’s sickening but if it’s the goalkeepers it’s fair to throw them under the bus

not saying our team is good but to write them off before qatar which is six-seven months away is not fair... Besides we have several players across the world we can add to the squad, jeffery schlup, salisu, alfred duncan, etc besides if the coach can improve this team within two weeks what makes u think he wont improve the team in six months ?
calling and begging players who never participated in the qualifiers. Your country and nigeria are just the same

Semid4lyfe or whatever you call yourself.

Ogun go kee you.

Please ban me for life make thunder nor fire you. Idiot.

Why are unbanning me now bro? To celebrate or mourn in you people's misery?

Please keep me away from your rotten negative bad energy here. You dey crase.

You banned me and kept (protected) your friends who instigated an unprovoked violent attack against me for airing my opinion. They ganged up, insulted my mother, called me mad and a psychiatrist patient, said all sort of inhuman things and you wanted me to remain mute, because I aired my views? I didn't insult them, I didnt attack them, they didnt like my view, they didnt have my topnotch logical reasoning to handle a discussion, and then attacked me verbally.

All you could do after I defended myself was to ban me and protect your friends. Ogun kee your generation. You dey mad.

You even had the guts to block and hid the comments of those who stood up to your babaric actions in my defence, thinking I was the one. Lol. I won't ever roll with low life Idiot like those here in my life again, ever.

What a set of low lifers. People who are not constant on their opinion. People who can attack but get annoyed when they are attacked. People who say all sort of things here about our players but you dare not say anything about their favs.

I watched as the one who calls himself AndrewPikin called me purple cow, mad man, demeaning words, but what did you do? You throwey face Semid4life. You watched as He kept insulting me even when I begged him to leave me alone, he refused. But later came here and be runing round saying NOBODY INSTIGATED ME. You dey mad AndrewPikin. Ogun kee you and your generation. Idiots.

I watched as the olosho here called me names and asked me to be thrown out for defending myself from their "imposing authoritative MINDSET" as if they own this place, you followed their instructuon like a brostitute that you are Semid4lyfe. Ode.

I wonder who una think say una be here. Bunch of flies. You lot can't handle or like people who can stand up to your bossy attitudes here. No wonder almost everyone here have a defeatist mentality, like they don't have a voice of their own anymore.. Like some folks here are top citizens and others are low class citizens... Bunch of animal farmers.

You think you will treat me like shit and i'll stay shut? If this was'nt a forum some of you for don miss tey tey. Animals forming bossy.

Semid4lyfe, ban me for life and keep your houseboy position to yourself and the rest houseboys here, im not in you people's leagues. Im too big to be here in animal farm with lowlifers forming push. Idiots.

Eyan MayWeather.

Egbon, I did not unban you. Rather, the period you were banned for elapsed so you were automatically unbanned by the counter algorithm.

Anyway, it's obvious from your vituperations that you haven't learnt any lesson so I have magnanimously acceded to your request for a lengthier ban.

My best regards, sir.

Again, those were NOT easy chances at all. Not even close. Nigerians are just looking for someone to blame.

How about you focus your anger at the coach and at the NFF? There’s no doubt in my mind that Gernot Rohr would’ve qualified us against this mediocre Ghana side.

He had two clear chances that a top quality striker should be hit the target with at least. But many call me him world class here. So he failed in this crucial game to show true quality.

one thing am sure of, 80% of those players that qualified ghana will not go to the worldcup. Andrewbaba44 na lie i tok?
not true unless this coach isnt around, he is trying to build a team with different tactics, so maybe 60-65% of this squad will of to the world cup, maybe the bench players might be changed but the starting line up and those will came on will all go

I never came down heavily on the goal keepers at any point in time.

If you want to hold players responsible for this tie.... Simon Moses should be first on the list and he is hardly mentioned here. He missed the clearest chance of the entire tie that would have given us a precious away goal.

Naming and shaming players would do us no good but it is understandable since fans frustrated at the moment.

Eguavoen brought a surprised old tactic to afcon to defeat Egypt, repeated it again against Sudan and Guinea Bissau. Unfortunately, technical coaches discovered he did not have more than one tactic in his chest. Tunisia punished him, Ghana that was below par at afcon had also successfully caged his tactic.
Tuesday match would be a disaster because eguavoen has nothing new to bring to the table.
1st 41 minutes of the match against Ghana, the possession of Ghana was 70% against 30% of Nigeria.
The last time I saw that against Nigeria was when we played Denmark at the world cup.
If we qualify for Qatar by mistake, this team will not get a point in the group stages because eguavoen is predictable

Every point before the Osihmen (23 yr old) criticism is accurate.
Even Ronaldo & Messi miss penalties, some clear cut chances.
Osihmens lungs is top notch.
They will test him regularly in my opinion
The game was a bit weird because of the pitch quality. Ball wasn’t flowing freely like in Europe or the Garoua pitch.
Osihmen is worth more than 50m in today’s market. He tried, no one is perfect.

grin grin You're blaming the pitch in Abuja ? What's wrong with the pitch? That pitch was world standard. It was recent renovated by Dangote lol.
Please, stop these blame games.

Agreed. I've always maintained this point that we don't have players. Nigeria lacks talents now. If we keep lying to ourselves that coaching is the problem, we will continue to see shambolic displays.

Is not a shame that after how many years yekini remains our highest goal scorer for the national team. Our national sides no longer have quality and the reliance on these foreign born can't help us any longer.

We need akpu bred footballers with skills. When I watch other African sides with their blend of physicality and skills, I know we have problem in our team. Those ajebo guys can't take us anywhere, players who can't run completely for 90mins and we wonder who will man our midfield or keep clean sheets for us. We are joking
