I submitted my application January 2021. It's at the discretion of the admission committee. I can't tell how long precisely. Just follow the procedure on their website.

They sent me an email to forward my documents. Later, they requested for a Waec scratch card to check the result themselves.

Yes. But it was DUOLINGO TEST that I submitted because the result came faster than the IELTS.

I recommend you go to their website because all these information are there.
thank you. As in January 2021 or 2022?

I have been trying to apply for a scholarship in Canada due to the incessant strike embarked upon by ASUU which will mess up one's future.

So I have few questions for those studying in Canada.

1. Can one use GCE in applying for a full tuition scholarship in Canada?

2. What is the chance of someone who have the following result in WAEC in 2017

English C4

Maths C6

Physics C5

Chemistry C6

Biology B3

Computer B2

Data processing C4

Agricultural science C6

Civic Education A1

3. Can one use this result to study Economics and psychology (double major)

4. Does full tuition scholarship includes monthly upkeep and accommodation?

5. How much does it cost living in Canada as a student in terms of accommodation, transportation as well as feeding?

6. What general advice and tips do you have for an applicant into Canadian Universities?

U can't get a full scholarship with just waec result .

Your best bet is to secure admission first with schools like University of Manitoba or Regina then work very hard for the first year so use you can your first year performance to apply for scholarship.

Yes you can double your major with that result.

Scholarships mostly is About tuition fee only though in some exception it comes along with other benefits such as the ones you mentioned.

Enjoy

I understand haykaybecks view sir but pernit me to say all hands are not the same as it will be wron comparin a rich kid goin out for studies wit an hustler going to study. In as much as i understan this guys takes database serious unlke in nigeria. Some hustlers go there to hustle n then still go to sch. Frm my view i dont think haykaybecks will just be avoidn goin to sch,it could just be an hustle tor the time been but if jts a full time hustle plan i hope the .moniker stays safe
GodsGabby:

This your question is a sad one.
This thing is the reason why they refuse nigerians and also cos a bad name for us.

How do you intend pursuing PR when the goal is to go to school and be able to get work experience or their education to apply for PR which the fastest is Canadian experience class.
And i hope you know the authorities also check to know if students are in school or not and schools also send reports too.

Guy becareful, those people database work so well.

I dnt think anyone would pay so much to get to school in canada and then abandon it.

I smiled immediately i read this. First go on to determine tne course u want, the institution, evaluate ur spendn as well as environment of ur choice. Then keep ur neccesary docs in place, schedule a visa at the embassy.
Schooling or abi travelling out of the country isnt that easy as most peeps sees it but i do urge peeps to keep their hope /determination high and alive while also been focused
P.S am not tryin to discourage you.
I sight u.All the best man

Francisgodstime view sir,3.5m js more than enough ' to get a ' canadian student visa' but when talking about flight fee tuition etc, 3.5m isnt enough as boss godsgabby as stated .
Yes you can work with the student visa too
GodsGabby:

No it can't get you to canada.
But if you can aim at full funding, it "might".

You can work as a student during school term for 20hrs and 40hrs during holidays.

Go for University of Waterloo, it highly rated and there are a lot of insurance company around that city for Coop. Actuarial Science is very lucrative in Canada, i am surprise Nigerians are not taking up this course. You can earn 6 digits per annum in a space of 2 years after your Msc. I work in the insurance industry and i know how difficult to keep them, they change jobs like pure water. I remember an insurance company paying 4k to their staff if you refer an actuary. please go for it. if you need further clarification. you DM.

Bro, I'd want to know if the kind of banking and insurance done in Canada is similar to what one done in Nigeria, you know all those marketing stuff.

Good morning all,

I pray that all PPR hopefuls will receive their good news soon, and all that are traveling for the fall will arrive safely in Jesus’ name.

I have a couple of questions, as I plan to book and pay for my flight this morning.

I don't want to go to Canada and start incurring costs since I can't start working until September.

1. I'm planning to travel soon, but I’ll like to know how many weeks will be enough to prepare for the start of the fall semester?
2. On which platform can I get the best flight ticket deal?
3. Which airline has the cheapest flight to Canada from Lagos?

I’ll appreciate your answer to these questions.

Thanks.

To your questions:

1. You'll be the one to determine what time will be sufficient for you to prepare. You should put in consideration, accommodation and other essentials you'll need before your first day in class. At the same time, the earlier you get there the more expenses you'll have to take care before school start.

2. Skyscanner, kayak and Google flights are usually the best site. But you'll be asked to pay in $$$ which may be difficult because of limit placed on Naija card. So, try Wakanow, you'll only pay in ₦₦₦. But be flexible with your travel date so as to get a better deal.

3. It depends on your final destination in Canada, if it is in Ontario, then I'll suggest Egyptair. And it's better to go to their office to book. Because they charge in $$, but you can pay in ₦₦ at their office with 444/per dollar rate.

I hope these help!

Where is your final destination?
