Of the three locations, Lekki would incur less operating cost. And a company would be mindful of its operating cost because its turnover isn't too high.
This also means it's a small/growing organisation, so the career ladder internally is very short.

But a person's career need not start and end in one organization.

And the scenario the OP stated really has nothing to do with a career path.
He went to a gym centre for an interview. He didn't tell us if it was a gym facility he applied to. If it was a gym facility he applied to, whether or not he applied to a gym located in VI, Ikoyi or Lekki, there'll be no defined career for him there, if we're still on the matter of career.

My point is, the OP's experience had nothing to do with the organisation being situated in Lekki.

And then stating that you don't trust organizations located in Lekki came off as a generalisation.

considering the competition in d labour market.. it will be difficult for you to get a job based on merit or qualification considering d course u studied and grade..micro biology is useless in this country..I dont know where they fit in..even hospitals dont accept them...pls try to venture into self employment or learn a trade..then the job will come when u least expected..as it is now u will have to have strong connection cuz the odds are against u..I am not discouraging u just my mind..if u are in benin..contact me..I will teach u a trade after 1 year and 6 months u will be making atleast 500k every month..but u have to put ur ego aside..salary work na scam.no agreement fee..feeding and accommodation on me...

I once flew from Lagos to Abuja for an interview, only to be informed on getting there that they have decided to postpone it, and were sorry they should have informed us earlier. A management position for that matter.
It's actually a sign that the company's executives are not professional, and workplace could even be toxic. The job is certainly insecure.
Except you are desperate for a job now, I wouldn't advice you to go back even if they call back.

Lekki offices?

I don’t trust any organization located in a residential area. Forgive me, my experience (not directly) with Lekki offices have been nothing short of disappointing.

They don’t pay well.

They are experts at big tags; Team Lead on a salary of 80k. No be to lead the team astray?

No defined or clear career growth.

No laid down organizational hierarchy. So a lot of asslicking, bullying and whistleblowing goes on there.

As for the HR, that is a typical unprofessional and uncompassionate Nigerian HR.

because I got tired at some point because of sadist professors I repeated my project ,I had migraine during the exams men I was hospitalized, registered for the exams but didn't attend any so my Gp came crashing down like the walls of Jericho
