No, you are not allowed. As Allah that created by His mercy sustain and provide for you, up until now, He will also provide for you during the ramadan fast period. If you are not married, staying around mosques both during sahur (pre-dawn meal) and iftar (evening breakfast meal), you will insha Allah find more than you need in terms of food as donated by other muslim brothers. This is the sprit of ramadan.

When I was in school, sometimes I normally struggle to survive during fasting..
I visited a particular mosque and break my fast. I'll eat enough food and drinks and take some away for sahur.
Sometimes, I ask from my fellow lodge mates and they offer me food.
During Ramadan, even the 'stingest' person give from what he got.

Haven't you attended an Islamic School in your life? Bro as a Muslim it's a must as in it's compulsory to fast! Allah will never allow you to fast without providing you Food for Iftar and Suhur. Just put your trust in Allah.

If you Skip fasting because you don't have food is funny. What will you eat if you Skip fasting? Observe the fasting while you pray in your heart for food for breaking the fasting. Use the fasting to survive the present difficulties while you will end up with great harvest.

There is no any evidence from hadith or Quran where it is stated that one can drop fasting because he or she has nothing to eat. It is not part of the obvious conditions that necessitated one not to fast.
Time without number, the prophet himself and some of him disciples lived with nothing to eat, we have not heard or read from any authentic hadith the prophet dropped fast because of that or that he instructed the disciples to do that.
In fact, it is tradition many Muslim community that the well to do organizes iftar at central places where fasting Muslim brothers and sisters gathered to break their fast. I believe you can find such places where you are living.
Remember that fasting is compulsory to every Muslim, among other the other fundamental pillars. It is not optional ethic as many quranic verses and hadith have revealed to us. As such no good Muslim should find flimsy excuse to exempt himself or herself from it. It's pity that an able and healthy body like you is attempting to deny yourself the great reward associated with a fasting believers.
May Allah (SWA) continue to guide us to the right path.
