Please, do I need to open account with sterling bank first to be able to get PTA in cash. $$? I applied through GTB and they are saying they give only $500 cash. The remaining will be in my card. An anyone help? I need the $4000 on cash. Thanks. Please help a sister.
buchito1:
Do you mean PTA? If it's PTA, then you mustn't open a domiciliary account.

I got $4000 CASH PTA yesterday from STERLING BANK!

And I didn't open a Domiciliary Account.

This is exactly what am trying to understand with Conestoga college as I just received offer . The refund policy is not clear to me , please anyone that understand should put me through. I don't want to lose my money

If your study permit application is rejected, Conestoga college will refund any fees paid less than $200cad (administrative charge). Note that you will need to forward them a copy of the rejection letter too , or else you they might withhold the $1500cad deposit.

Good evening everyone,
Please when proofing fund for myself and my sponsor, is statement from our Nigerian banks acceptable? Or must it be in Canadian Dollars?

If not of the above, I need directives on how it is done. Thanks everyone...

Good evening to all the gurus here. I've been a silent reader for quite a while and although I currently hold admission for Sept 2022 bachelor's in software system engineering >university of Regina I decided to let it be and focus on my studies here in Nigeria since I'm a 200 level student of unn and couldn't get a sponsor.

Well now my mother has decided to sponsor me and I'm having problems with POF. She's owns 2 supermarkets { only one registered with CAC and her bank bal is 11m but the deposits in her account are inconsistent ranging from 1500 - any amount since she uses this acc to sometimes receive payments.

How do I explain this in my SOP. Pls help me out.

It depends on the program and school you want to apply to.
In my case I applied to Conestoga college last week and I have just received offer yesterday. Hence am studying there refund policy before paying deposit.
Meanwhile, you can check out some schools here https://www.ontariocolleges.ca/en/colleges
I'll check it out now, thanks.

I mentioned my preferred booking date only. I dint mention canada medical appointment but they mentioned it. And also they said the process would take minimum of 6hours. How true is it?
