As married nairalanders, how often do your spouse provoke you? And how do you handle such provocations?

Provocation to me comes daily, though depending on the level of provocation from the other partner.

No marriage is perfect but our ability handle each others flaws is what matters more. Considering every provocation as a yardstick to acrimonious living may only lead to broken homes.

How do you handle yours?

Provocations comes daily in marriage but we learn to let it slide sometimes and pretend as if nothing happened, In marriage one person must be calm for the other, two werey nor fit marry each other otherwise na steady gbege everyday grin

All the time most times it is wise to keep quiet then look for a good time to discuss the issue ,like I told my wife before we got married that all issues are discussable no issue is greater than the marriage

My wife knows her limit. She can't go extra miles to provoke me because if she do, she ll receive x3 of it. We no dey too provoke each other like that sef cause we know where to draw the line and we know what each want and don't want.

I couldn't just say why God created women beside Men!!
Mine provoke me very many times a day, its only when I tried hard to resist her trouble by leaving the house for her, then she reduce it to like 2-3 times a day.

I'm just looking for where to hide after work so I can be coming home by weekends to reduces her provocation to a minimal.

70 times 70 times. Seriously I have learnt not to take everything my spouse says seriously but she must not discover that otherwise it will hurt her. Also I have vowed more than 20 times not to argue with her but you see yourself arguing again and again. My last working solution is to just listen as if to a radio when her argument button is activated. But honestly why the big gap of understanding between men & women?

Because women always want men to reason like them, and men also want women to reason like that... But that's impossible... We are wired differently.

Hmmmmmmm...my brother, you just have to find a way to live with her ignoring her. It's like a natural thing to their gender. Even in mere interactions apart from relationship/marriage, they always have that urge to provoke. I've heard some people say women are just adults with the brain of a child. Never accepting to be wrong which is a major problem.
