They can't.

YouTube and Facebook do not pay much to content creators from Africa. That is because marketers do no think the region have money. Also there are lot of people using ad blockers to watch their favourite videos, which demotize content creators, also YouTube and Facebook take about 50 to 60% of your revenue, so how then can they afford the lifestyle they show us.

But on a good note, the only content creator making cash is Mark angel but he doesn't live extravagantly

The article left out YouTube revenue which is the bulk of their revenue. The revenue they make from Facebook Instagram tiktok and YouTube justifies their extravagant lifestyle. That's why a lot of people are flooding into skit making even though majority of them lack content and creativity

Go and calculate cpm for Nigeria. Different niche has different cpm.

Cpm for Entertainment niche in Nigeria is around $0.05 per 1000 views

To make $100, you need around 2 million views
To make $500,you need about 10 million views.

So how then is reno making about 100m

If you get viewers from The US, you will get more money than when you get viewers from Nigeria.

For every money you make, YouTube takes 55%, also if your viewers are from the US, you have to pay tax.

I have watch the video.

For 1 million views she made about 5k dollars because the majority of her viewers came from the US.

How i wish you understand how it works.

Some times, it can take 2 to 3 months or more to get to 1million views,

So in a way, it could take her about 2 to 3 months to earn that 5k but YouTube will be paying her according to the views she gets at that moment per month, so in a way, they didn't pay her 5k at once but bit by bit.

If you see the date on her YouTube stats fir that video

It showed from august 8th 2020 to January 30 2021

So it took her almost 5 months to get 1 million view
It took her 5 months to get to the 5k

They still go to events nearly every weekend even Mc with no name dey charge 500k to 1m, have ad sponsorships, do events abroad, payed to feature in movies, not to talk of YouTube income and some of them have multiple videos with over 1m views and other business sources. Plus they will no rich people that introduce them to more lucrative businesses.
