Budget $3000 per month (including accommodation) to be safe and comfortable.

If they are willing to live amongst the working class and face the same challenges then $700-$1000 per month should suffice.

Answered above.

You'll be fine with $250 - $500 as living. Expense per month for a single person, although depending on taste, preference and life style

I have been interested in visiting Nigeria for a few years but never thought very much about it. I've been browsing Nairaland for many years but I see almost nothing but complaining about your country, so if it even worth coming? Lagos looks fine but you guys seem to just have violent incidents happening everywhere, so I don't know if it's a good idea to come.

I'm from a country in western Europe. Do you dislike Europeans? I want to know what to expect, and if it's worth visiting.
YOU ARE SAFE TO VISIT, AND SECONDLY WE DON'T HATE ANY OTHER NATIONALITY. THE TRUTH IS THAT WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH OURSELVES AS NIGERIANS AND NOT WITH FOREIGNERS. GO TO FACEBOOK " SEARCH FOR < NWANYIOCHA A SWISS WOMAN MARRIED TO AN IGBO MAN OR LOLO-IFUNANYA AN AUSTRIAN MARRIED TO AN IGBO MAN TOO > " . THIS TWO NAMES I MENTION WILL HELP U ALOT. DON'T BE SCARE

Dude had an entire page to himself... talking nonsense bout Nigeria being nice and all but looks to migrate....listen to him at your own cost...lol... it's not like Nigeria is dangerous like afganistan or sudan but it wicked leaders have crippled the country growth... e.g , u can have accident anywhere in the world but you can easily get into accidents in Nigeria and they cant trace the driver, why many drive without a license, many tankers are gutting fire and killing folks ,containers are falling and killing folks, such avoidable deaths.... firstly at the airport the customs and immigrations will try to swindle u...then you try to book a tour service, many dont deliver on their services... omo, the talk plenty... its alot... you can still survive but it's a"Cat race" ... dont be deceived... I use to live in a upper middle class society (an estate) and yet we got robbed like no tomorrow, smashed windows in lagos traffic to rob us, on may occasions..Infact it's the new normal... I'm grateful to God I got out of that hell-hole(Nigeria) when I had the chance to... go there at your own peril
