As long as Pep and Klopp are around we need unbelievably smart player investment to even compete for titles. If we don't invest properly and build the right structure (instead of giving people like Nicky Butt and Darren Fletcher jobs that they do not deserve) we will have 10 more years of failure.

You know it's possible to appoint the wrong managers for years in a row. Especially for a club like United.

It is about the structure and decision making process in the club. The same way it is possible to appoint wrong managers in a row it is possible to buy wrong players in a row.

This club has Darren Fletcher a man with zero experience as Technical Director while they could only promise a serial team builder like Rangnick a vague “consultancy” role.

The structure of the club is all wrong. People are getting jobs and getting new contracts and pay increments for almost purely non-football reasons. The rot is deep.

I think that's on John Murtough and we're conducting interviews for an assistant that's probably going to be doing most of the job. Rangnick is also going to join as an advisor. Btwn unlike Woodward, Arnold will have no say on the type of players we bring in.

So everything's looking good structure wise.
