Problem Problem Problem

How do we resolve this....

Christy Ucheibe VS Regina Otu

Look at it as an opportunity. Very happy we have both players
Ucheibe needs to work on her passing, though.
Echegini looked the part in her cameo.

The makeshift bench defintely had an impact on the match, an okay performance.

Full-time.

Our girls are too slow with poor decision making.

We could have conceded up to 4 goals if not for Oluehi's brilliance.

Let's hope they improve in the next game.

Canada's defence isn't too spectacular. A little more organization might have seen a goal.

What are you saying??

How many of them are legitimately defenders??

Amanda Mbadi Midfielder, Ucheibe Midfielder give them credit please, if the likes of Ohale and other defenders were available this wouldn't have happened

They obviously played better in the first half. It's very possible fatigue set in in the second half as they were for the most part uninspiring and couldn't make runs.

The Canadians for the most part were double man marking, putting the players under pressure to either make ridiculous passes or give the ball away. A team that understand themselves better will rather pass the ball around till the Canadians get tired.

A lot of things to improve on, but not a bad display in my opinion

Its difficult to tell. Canada made three subs at the beginning of the 2nd half and they were young, good players - one is Heitama of PSG.
The attack leading to the goal was from the left.

Min 61: Abadi just made a complete mess of a pass (trying to dribble through 2 Canadians and turned the ball over), leading the Canadians to almost score - brilliant save by Nnadozie and a goal line clearance by Nicole Payne (replay shows ball never crossed the line).
Nnadozie injured in the process.
Its Huitema. The way they hype her ehn. Maybe because she's Alphonso Davies girlfriend. Me I just like her because she's pretty.

Nicole Payne...........I just love her Pace To and Fro, The future is bright, she's really Modeling her game after Lucy Bronze and Alexander Arnold...

Fatigue and time zone differences were a huge problem. Some of them came in less than 24 hours from Europe and Africa where they should be asleep by now.

The team is fatigued most of them only got to camp on matchday and we really have some nice shots on target to test their goalkeeper something we didnt manage to do against USA in my own opinion i will say the team has gotten better since the us series and they will be much better before the world cup

Yea she did really well. Was impressed.

The last run she made though. She'll definitely could have done better. But a lot of room for growth, so no worries

Kudos to the Superfalcons, they only trained once and had to Play with that shot period of time when the key players aren't even around...

Kudos to the Payne Sisters...

Yeah ohale height would have helped us dealing with the set pieces

She make some really good runs into the final third but her final always let her down

The coach needs to devote a training session to defending set pieces. We conceded about 4 consecutive corner kicks towards the end of the game.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:03am On Apr 09, 2022
I like the way onumonu win those long balls even with 2 defenders on her she still managed to shield the ball well and bring others into play something Azeezat couldn't do against USA

North Americans and their low self esteem. Later they'll say that their league is better but everyone wants to play in Europe grin

This is the 3rd player that coach has snuck into this team. IMO she doesn't deserve to be there over Flourish Sabastine.
