funny enough, a good percentage of Lagos voters at least 35% are Igbo voters. You wonder while they have produced both state and federal legislators in a state that is not theirs because of their population density in Lagos . Later go to ask their voting power in. SS, whole of the North and even in your village. When you here that 40% of igbos of SS/SE are not resident in the east you begin to argue. LAGOS is projected to be 20 million and you will boldly say that at least 30% (6 to 7) milliond are not Igbo, then you are not true to your self. Funny SE government count Lagos sometimes as their 6th state and the second most populated after Anambra state.

Secondly there is voters apathy. The people are not really interested in Nigeria project and almost all the election has been boycotted starting from MASSOB movement around that 1999, IPOB presently etc. With the recent ipob movement, they will go round fron house to house preaching and discouraging people not to vote. I hope you do hear the common slogans like: No election in Anambra state or No election in Imo state.
