Na so them dey start till the whole electrical system goes haywire or shut down completely leaving you stranded, high and dry or even worse still cause an electrical fire which will make you lose that car.

Call it whatever you like, but I know this. Modern cars even a small lowly Yaris electrical component isn’t designed to be bypassed let alone a more complex German car with a dozen of modules monitoring and controlling stuffs. Know this and know peace.

This statement says a lot more about the poster, than he thinks it does about Japanese vehicles.

The poster is a tight fisted individual willing to compromise on good service, and if he can save a penny in the process, he is very willing to accept cheaper, lower quality alternatives. And all of this noise the poster is making is over an ancient vehicle.

Keep living in your imaginary and delusional world where these old, beat up German contraptions are the best thing since the coming of Christ.

From the way Mercedes Benz was built not even a professional panel beater can work on some body parts.

The picture in attachment couldn't be worked on after a trailer jam... The door had to be replaced completely.

It may interest you to know I’ve had to rebuild or replace more than 17 W205 and W213 engines.

Please be guided, some very old luxury cars still perform excellently well abs would outlast a lot of newer cars.

lol,I guess what's missing in most of these ranters is growth mindset.
Real growth brings sense ,it makes people see things for what they really are I guess,not making a big deal out of little things.
If them dey panel beat GLE coupe still sell to clients with taste and money to complement the taste,I wonder what's the big deal to do same to a very old,cheaper,inferior counterpart.

Felicity generalized the Japanese comparison, but that dude jumps at any opportunity to conjunct meaninglessness into a post aimed at defending Toyota.

I'd bet a buck, if felicity had compared the Mercedes to a Honda or any other Japanese brand apart from Toyota without generalising, then gravatar would have ignored it.

He generalized the Japanese thingy, and unfortunately for everybody; Toyota was included too..
