I completely agree with your point on having the CBs act as a pivot distribution point.

I even recall Ordega going straight to play for the SF a month after playing at the U-17 World Cup.

I would only ask them to defend in a zone if the attacking team are also attacking the set-piece in a zone. Otherwise it should be strictly woman-to-woman marking on all set-pieces.

You're correct but in terms of height we're lacking it, they have got Sinclair upfront who's very good in the Air and they're taller

Onome Ebi, Ashleigh Plumptre are very dominant in the Air but seems they lost focus at some point especially Ashleigh as soon as Ebi was taken off...

A pity both aren't confident to want to be saddled with that right now. Best bet is to find CBs that can play just that way. Amplifies a lot of things. Can even try it at WAFCON.

For me, seeing how the attack zaps out or produces nothing to take home, i think she should be played wherever her personal strength for the team shows. Especially utilizing that pace. Imagine a coach instructing the team to find her first in a counter attack situation. She should be allowed to continue. It remains knowing how to connect with another player for the one-two passes that need be worked on.

Payne Sisters as our Wing Backs, I love that. Tony Payne is a Blessing to the team her versatility melt my heart...

21years Nicole Payne is full of Pace and Energy, but her end product isn't there yet still can't blame her cause she's still in College and will definitely grow and time goes on.. Hopefully when she graduates next year if she doesn't take up the Additional one year as a Senior College Player then Going Pro Straight should be the Best...

By now, I don't expect Rita to be a starter. Is her replacement so hard to come by? Not even an understudy in last 5yrs? Fresh blood should be benching Rita and Ebi by now.

Two Paynes do their runs and back and both must also be skilled at 1_2 passes with the attackers and Ajibade. The end game is a lethal attacking setup and one that easily recovers the ball when possession is lost. If Only Ebi is accurate with passing though. IF ONLY!

Depends on the opposition. If it’s a top 3-4 team and we are in a favorable position, I would certainly favor that tactic

I am not buying the Plumptre hype. She has not proven she can defend. She had issues against Ivory Coast and this time the Canadians had a field day on her side.

In my opinion NFF should be planning how we can climb the FIFA ranking we are ranked 39 we should be playing team ranked from 25 to 15 if we can beat this teams we can move up in fifa ranking and get a favorable draw at the world cup

I've watched the Super falcons for quite sometime (at least to make a reasonable judgement). We have a poor history against European (plus North American) teams. Only now am I starting to see some boldness in attack. Even with a disjointed team (heavily jet lagged) We managed to still pose danger to Canada.

In the 2019 WC we would've not even got a single goal against a poor Korea if not for Oshoala's brilliance. Maybe you'll need to compare the individuality then and now.

Coaching is a very delicate job, hence I don't like to blame coaches who have not failed their objectives. For me, besides losing to South Africa, there's been no problems. That was a friendly, but we won both Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire, two top five countries in a crucial tie.

Relax first before home based brouhaha gets the better of you.

93 minute mark. Ripped her opponent of the ball and put in a fine pass to get Onyi Echegini on her way. Onyi ended with a shot on target.

If she's put on that pitch, I'd bet she'd be lost.

Oshoala's was a special case, while Ordega and Oparanozie came through when female football was still never taken seriously in Africa . Times have seriously changed.

Oga u didn't address anything I said what has the coach added to this team? What does Eguavoen have to do with anything? I don't know why u must always try to attack my character to make ur point. What do homebase have to do with what we are talking about?

We lost our final game to Ghana and we could have lost both games to ivory Coast if they had a striker. Our only meaningful result under Waldrum was a draw to Portugal.

The objective of coaching the Super Falcons can never only be qualification because that should be a given. I want them to have a set style of play that works and also COMPETE against bigger competition and not just show up.
