Just observing the effects of poverty and slavery in the comments.

At least with extreme poverty, people can be bought, they can be owned, and that is what they like in africa. for Nigeria especially, its not about capacity, its about who paid who.

Monies that were suppose to be used to develop the Nation are used for purchasing people in elections.

Therefore you cannot demand for good leadership, if you are sold to the highest bidder.

I, my family and my clan shall be rooting for Peter Obi or probably Osibanjo. Other contestants look dubious to me.

Who was he before Tinubu handpicked him? Stop justifying
disloyalty it may be your turn someday
Who was Tinubu before Abiola. Someone must show another person the way. We are all interwoven but that should never be termed slavery. For example if I employed you into a Bank does it mean I have the right to manipulate you to commit fraud on my behalf?

Lol. You are telling someone that has stayed on and vice-presided the mass of deaths and misfortunes befalling the Country to show respect? he couldn't respect his so called Ministry by resigning. What more evidence do you need to show that he is also a Power-Monger, Power-hungry ambitious fellow like you?

true I don't agree with most things Mr igbokwe says but this is simple loyalty, you cannot bite the hand that fed and rised you when you are hungry, osibanjo supposed to support his master not fight him,I am not saying I support tinubu but in life loyalty counts, without tinubu most people will not know osibanjo and he cannot smell aso rock,no matter how bad tinubu is painted but this is betrayal.

“Let me drop it here for history and posterity: If you are one of the people Asiwaju (Tinubu) raised up and you are eyeing the presidency of the federal republic of Nigeria, show respect and withdraw from the race,”

So even if Tinubu is incontinent and his fast losing his cognitive skills, more competent and capable people like Osinbajo should not join the race? Why are Nigerians such sycophants

It's a competitive world.
Moreover Igbokwe is a boot licker that's why he can't move away from Lagos parasatal all this days.
Compared a professional like Osinbajo who Tinubu engaged to bolster his admistration and if not for his expertise Tinubu may never engaged him at first.

Rubbish! What Nigeria needs now is the best man (or woman) for the job. Having another relic like Tinubu on our nation is a terrible outcome.

People are not involved in deciding how their future will become, because they choose the highest bidder, and they do not even consider the capacity of the highest bidder. Leadership in Nigeria is about the highest bidder. So in a way, people sell themselves.
And since people sell themselves, they do not have the right to change, determine, or improve their conditions, unless they are lucky, so it will depend solely on luck, not on capacity.
