An agent told me it can be planned to follow Qatar airways: Lagos to Doha, Doha to Brazil, Brazil to Salvador, Salvador to Panama, Panama to Belize. I only have Belize visa. Please is it workable?
That trip seems too long. What you should have done is get a Mexican visa as well. Then take Turkish airlines from Abuja or Lagos to Istanbul Turkey. Then transit to another Turkish airlines plane that will go from Turkey to Panama. Then take Copa Airlines from Panama to Mexico and then Tropic Air from Mexico to Belize or you can take the bus from Mexico to Belize.

You don't need transit visa for Turkey or Panama if you are not going to exit the airport. At least, that is how it used to be. Belize is a tourism dependent country and since the pandemic started, jobs have not been easy to come by especially if you don't have your permanent residency or citizenship. But you can work as a remote freelancer whilst living in Belize for companies in Europe or America if you already hold such a job.

Getting Mexico visa seems as hard as getting an American visa nowadays. If he can get Mexican visa Turkish Airline goes direct from Istanbul to Mexico City no need for Panama.
But if the ticket he has is in one booking ticket then he can use it, yes its too long but provided that it can get him to his destination it's ok.

Due to covid wahala, many airlines are not flying as usual so it's hard getting these flights on one ticket... most south, central and north American countries dont give Transit visa anymore as folks have abused it... especially if you are connecting to a different airport or have all ur flight is different tickets... Get a Cuban Visa... or Trinidad visa... then connect to belize from there...

Thanks dear. I think getting Cuba visa will be the easiest.
Which country in the Caribbean do you stay?

Its a small country with a small population of 400,000 people. The country's locals consist of Mestizos who make up the majority, followed by Black people, mixed race people, Native indigenous people, Mennonites, as well as Chinese, Indian, American, British, Canadian and South and Central American immigrants.

Economy is mostly dependent on tourism. The economy has been negatively impacted by the pandemic as is the case in many countries around the world presently. However nurses, doctors and teachers are in demand. Call centers belonging to American businessmen are always hiring too. In order to teach nursery, primary and secondary school kids, you must have a Bachelors degree in Education.

The country is peaceful. It has a lot of beautiful beaches. The country is a Christian country. No ethnicity related tension, no religious extremism/intolerance and no farmer/herdsmen clashes like in Nigeria and many other parts of Africa.

Food such as vegetables, fruits, chicken are super affordable. Electricity and tap water supply is stable and readily available. Unlimited internet such as WIFI is fast, reliable and reasonably priced.

Local currency is the Belizean Dollar (BZD).
2 Belizean Dollars gives you 1 U.S Dollar. That's the official exchange rate and it does not change because it is set/pegged by the central bank of Belize.

One bedroom apartment (Which includes kitchen, bathroom, living room and dinning area) goes for BZD 600 and above. So that is USD 300 and above. Self contain goes for BZD 500 a month. So that is USD 250.

Don't come to Belize if you don't have money. It costs quite a lot of money to get your "papers." It takes some time to get your permanent residency permit visa/card and until you get it, you can't legally take on paid employment. Belize is not a country where you can live illegally. You need a valid Social security card for a lot of things such as opening a bank account, getting a current Belize police report which you will need before any employer will hire you and so on. You will be deported if you are found to be illegally residing in the country.

Ways to get to Belize:
Fly to America and from America to Belize is just 2.5 to 3 hours by flight. United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Airlines fly direct, nonstop flights to Belize from the United States.

If you are not able to get a U.S transit visa, use Turkish airlines, fly from Abuja or Lagos to Istanbul, Turkey. From Turkey to Cancun, Mexico. From Mexico to Belize. Mexico is right next to Belize just the same way Benin Republic is next to Nigeria.

Official language of Belize: English. The country was a former British Colony and is part of the British Commonwealth. However, many of the locals also speak Spanish. Belize passport holders can travel to the U.K visa free and are allowed to remain in the U.K for up to 6 months.

Weather: Tropical weather. In other words, warm weather. There is the raining season and the dry season. No snow. No winter.

No malaria fever in Belize despite it being a tropical country like Nigeria. No typhoid fever either. Their ministry of health eradicated malaria fever from Belize a long time ago. Mosquitoes exist but they don't give malaria fever. The ministry of health sprays a unique insecticide into the environment during the raining season to hinder people from getting bitten by mosquitoes when they are outside.

Cost for permanent residency permit card for countries who are part of the British Commonwealth : BZD 3,000. So that is USD $ 1,500.

The people? overall, quite friendly though you will find some few jerks here and there like is the case in every country of the world.
thank you for your mail, if i got there with 3000 dollars hope it will take me a long way
