Some things are better left unsaid because the person might never understand until its personally experienced. Summer is almost here and the "persecution" can get worse especially when you're single here. I say no more!
Exactly lol.

Currently reading from the beginning. And I seem to observe that it's mostly married people getting this PPR. Can't someone get it as a single person please?
The age range 20-29 constitute the largest population of express entry applicants who get the visa. Many are unmarried. infact, it's far easier to get it as a single person than as a married person. Just be below 24, have a masters and a few years experience and you will almost surely get the visa. So, I don't think it's true most people who get it are married.

I think your question has been mostly answered but I wanted to add that there are some things you can do to improve your credit score more quickly. Always take the maximum credit limit the card company will give you and apply for higher limits whenever you can. Try and keep the amount of credit you use to about a third of your total available, even if this means you have to pay off the card more than once a month. Use your credit card for everything you can including recurring bills like electricity, TV, internet etc. I'm new to Canada and my credit score increased to a good level just from using credit cards (I don't have any loans). There's some good information on credit scores here:https://www.canadafornewbies.com/best-credit-cards-for-newcomers-to-canada/.

Pee2Jay9:
Hello all. Please can a good credit score be achieved from just using credit cards to buy groceries and pay phone bills? Can someone achieve a good score for house mortgage without having to do car loan on credit first?

There's nothing surprising, unique or unusual there. It's all just your Nigerian background that's making you think it is. There's absolutely nothing wrong for people to say they don't want kids or don't want to marry. That you grew up in a Nigeria where people think that's normal doesn't make it the right thing or the wrong thing. It's just people's preferences. Being open-minded helps. Many Nigerians who go to Canada in their late 20's and early 30's are stuck in a way of thinking that's not open nor tolerant. They are the gay-haters and the cat-haters. Mindset still wrapped or trapped in 90's traditional thinking. The ones who won't see women as equals. Again, nothing wrong with the Canada dating scene. But everything wrong with the way you look at it from a Nigerian prism.

grin grin grin grin Don't mind him, he will learn the hard way.
One of the mistake of my life was travelling out without getting married.
After spending years abroad, now I am back in Nigeria getting married to a Nigerian girl in Nigeria.
If I knew what I knew now, I would not ever travel abroad without getting married.

It is still forgivable for a guy tho, abroad is really hard for single women.
The number of single Nigerian women in their 30s that were on my neck for marriage was just too much.

Nigerian men hardly marry single Nigerian women abroad, majority still come back to Nigeria to marry a wife just like I did, not sure why sha... I guess the Africanness in us will always show.

this one don come again . This same Canada where many 9ja babes are looking for traditional men while they want to be modern women. While some men also want 50:50 plus submission. As if some of us have not lived in Europe or usa before coming here. Canada dating scene is one kind. Full stop

Are you a female? If yes, there might be a shared apartment available for May - but it's for females only. Maybe you can stay in an Airbnb for 1 week, then move in after the person occupying the space leaves in May. Send me an email if you are a female, I'm a female too btw.

It is far easier for a man to come back to marry in Naija, not so easy for ladies.
What a man needs to do is to toast a lady, but a lady cannot just go round toasting men.
