Schemerkhiz:Oparanozie is currently way behind Onumonu and Oshoala. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 6:38pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:I'd prefer Okoronkwo. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 6:41pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
carbonado:I totally agree. |

AkinDS:Absolute facts! |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 7:31pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
AkinDS:Good point here.. Take Vivian Obianujuwan Ikechukwu (24yrs) another case of Study, How she has developed within this few years. Even though her move to Europe came a little late unlike Ajibade, Okeke and Co.. Just watch out for how she's going to develop her game better and better with her move to the Romanian giant where she would be playing in the UEFA Women's Champions League too, it's going to be a valuable experience for her and am very certain within two year she should find herself in one of the top5 league in Europe... Monday Gift still need this to up her game cause the hype is too much and she hasn't really prove a point yet!...

Schemerkhiz:Not saying that she should start but when was Oparanozie ever fast? She is probably in better shape now than she has ever been. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 9:27pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
AkinDS:Ajibade basically didn't have a position on the team when u saw her in 2018. She was on the wings and that wasn't going to work. Deborah, Esther and Flourish play in positions that the team is actually lacking. Deborah actually got a call up already just that she had to return to the U20s. Esther and Flourish have pace to burn that can be used on the wings. If we can throw a 19 year old Nnadozie in goal at the world cup, I believe these girls should be at least good for an invite during some friendlies. Let them at least train with the team and let the coach decide. |

Bigzigg:Yeah Esther Ijeoma Okoronkwo seems to be the best option between the 3 of them, can take on defender with her Skill and also deliver dangerous ball into the box. Good at tracking back to help out in defense.. Currently has 4goals and 2assists in 17 League in the FEMININE DIVISION 1 in France, this is her first season playing pro and her Clubside currently sit at the bottom of the table.. At the Summer Series she had a goal disallowed for an offside against Jamaica.. This past AWCON qualifying game against CIV she Scored 1goal and 1assist.

Schemerkhiz:She's not a better option than Uchenna Kanu. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:13pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Exactly, even in her U20 days (2012), she was the best player on the pitch but not fast. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:18pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Eeeehh... Excluding her U20 performance, If you have been watching Oparanozie from 2010 till 2016 you would know that she used to be a quick 9 not as fast as the likes of Oshoala and Ordega though but she was fast then... Her pace reduced drastically from early 2017 till now, even when she was so robust from the period of 2012 till early 2014 she was quick enough..

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:20pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
GeneralDae:You can't tell me that Oparanozie is that Slow, her pace was way above Average then.. Someone who can run with the ball from Midfield to box 18 haba... Maybe have been watching the wrong Oparanozie

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:23pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:In comparison to the other attackers then, Ordega, Esther, Okobi, and the likes, she wasn't the quickest all round but had quick feets and was definitely the most dangerous in those days. We definitely missed her in 2012 AWCON when her club didn't release her. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:24pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Here I said Esther Okoronkwo seems to be the best Option to start alongside Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu to me with the little qualities i highlighted, I never said she was better than Kanu or Ordega neither did I say the two other are better than her... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:24pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
GeneralDae:She has the quickest feet's among them even till date! |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:27pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
GeneralDae:Football Sha... I don't really know were Esther Sunday got it all wrong. The Skills, pace were there and still there till date but lack the end product Same thing happened to Loveth Ayila who is no longer playing football |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:29pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:One player I liked then that faded too quickly for me was Ebere Orji. A bundle of talents who just declined as she grew older like Wayne Rooney. |

My dream line up in June
|
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:35pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
isan:Brilliant line up. Can Patricia George also start ahead of Alozie with Alozie probably coming in later on. If I'm not mistaken, George can play on that wing as well. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 10:37pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
In 2018 Ajibade didn't play in the wings , in the first game she started as an Attacking mildfielder and the Final she started as the striker BascoVanVeli: |

Morocco 2 Ghana 0. (International friendly). |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by carbonado(m): 10:46pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
isan:is T. Payne not left footed, also Alozie always have problems with skillful players.. My opinion though.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by carbonado(m): 10:46pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
GeneralDae:... Omo... So technically, they might be the dark horse of this tourney. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:52pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
lovewins:Rasheedat Ajibade has really improved a lot, I pointed all this out before the 2nd Leg against Canada that Coach Randy needed to take advantage of her exploit in the Midfield.. Forget it Ayinde will have a difficult time to battle out Rash from the Central Midfield position except Randy plays Ajibade as AM, then Ayinde in CM position.. Tony Payne has become a Utility player in the Superfalcon, should I say the Stella Mbachu of the team though I never watched Stella playing as a Full back anyday... She just need to improve on her Corner kicks and free kicks cause Stella was excellent set pieces taker..

GeneralDae:Should I say she didn't find favour with the team or which word should I use? Ebere Orji is still good till date, I still follow her games till date. Tried bringing her back to the team but seems not in Coach Randy Waldrum plans after her invitation to the Camp in Austra. 2016 Coach Florence Omagbemi brought her back for the AWCON qualifying game which she played both legs against Senegal.. but wasn't recall for the AWCON tournament. Same thing with Thomas Dennerby, he invited her on few occasions but didn't make the team to the AWCON in 2018 too |

GeneralDae:Wish i can comment on this Patricia George issue right now, let's see how it goes first!! |

carbonado:Men if you watch the highlights. That game should have ended 5-0 to Morocco . They have also scouted some foreign born quality players over the years. Yeah is the link to the highlights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ogR7GV0Qm4 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 11:04pm On Apr 13, 2022 |
carbonado:The fear of Morocco is the beginning of Wisdom... Hahaha They have a very good Coach, I wish he was the one Coaching the Superfalcons But again the Ghana they played is like the team B or should I say half of the team, only the Home based non of their foreign based was in the Squad. Morocco is tactically discipline but still lack the big game experience which the likes of Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa and Zambia have.. I trust they would qualify for the World Cup. |

carbonado:Tony Payne is right footed but can use her Left very well... |
