You buy a truckload of granite, a truck load of sharp sand, 400 to 500 blocks, 25 bags of cement, digging and labour should not exceed 90k, iron rod to do the at least four pillars and payment for iron rod bender should take 60k at most etc. 700k will make it. It won't cover german floor or filling of the foundation as that can be done later.

Let's be realistic, in 2022 how much is the minimum to start foundation at least. I'm hoping 500k to 700k for a 2 bedroom flat foundation

If you don’t have bulk money in your account then it is better to start doing it gradually with little you have. That was what I did for my first house. It took me 3 years to complete a 3 bedroom bungalow building. I used another one year to build the fence and borehole water.

Don't have much capital then, it was zealousness and determination that help me but still on it. The way landlord they increase rent eee, it so painful. I got a land last year through motivation of my wife. Money I was suppose to use in getting a car sha. Foundation consumed about 600 blocks already. Main building I progress. E no easy sha .

I ignored the bandwagon and kept working hard until I made my first billion naira.

I didn't have to buy any land to build, I went to the best estates in lekki and bought the best houses and I do whatever I want.

If you like tie your little capital down inside the ground and keep blaming the government for all your shortcomings in the future.

so while making that billions you were living in your Father's house or with a friend.
If you were living in a rented apartment. Calculate the cost of that apartment x the years you spent there.
Then you will see you could have built a cool one or two bedroom flat of yours.

For eg, if you make 300k per month..
Save up 100k for building project then invest 100/150. That your 100k in 3 years will be almost 4 million.. enough as at 2012 to build a 2or 3 bedroom well furnished

There is a kind of calm you feel when living in your own house. You can think of perfect investments to do

I started eleven years ago. Bought a piece of land. Did foundation, bought vibrated blocks before I knew there was issues around the land. Got another one. Then I bought sand and mould blocks. No cash to continue for almost three years. When I got small cash, when there to clear the bushes and seeing the blocks changed colour, I used them for fence and remaining to complete two shops. Was afraid of the strength of the blocks tho I was told they are still strong. Rest again. Got small money before Covid-19, mould blocks and did foundation then I rest again.
But when grace found me out, in a space of two months, bought a house last year September, did small renovations and move in in December. Ayam in tho still paying the debts. To build no easy but plan coupled with favour will make it a reality.
