Donshegxy10:I'm very pleased for your education, and I think you are correct. Meanwhile, the same way Osinbanjo will win on the structure of Buhari. 1.It's only a blind who dnt know for now that Buhari is surporting osinbajo. 2.the same Reps and Senate that cannot say pim" during recent concluded apc elections Tinubu camp knows that Osinbanjo is fully backed by Buhari and that's why is camp had been jiltery and more reason they are lunching more than normal rockets to the personality of Osinbanjo. You may agree or disagree, Nigeria president is powerful to do and undo not even during Buhari reign. As it stands now, it will take devine intervention for tinubu to win. |

Donshegxy10:On the structure of the party the same way Obasanjo became president. Perhaps you're underestimating the number of Lagosians and Yorubas in general that are angry with Tinubu. Since Osinbajo declaration on Monday, do you know the number of votes and support Asiwaju had dropped? Do you know the implications of Asiwaju going into election with Osinbajo? Yes, Tinubu is this, Tinubu is that. He made Osinbajo, thank God for Tinubu life. No one came from heaven, someone is made by someone. It's normal in our journey of life. Even you that is reading this, someone made you through the help of God. Therefore, no one should assume the position of God in any man's life. God doesn't like it. Yes, Tinubu is more popular and well connected. The election is not about the most popular but there are other factors that would have to be considered and it's those factors that pushed Osinbajo out to contest. |

A lot of articles will be pushed forward to discredit Tinubu. I can't respond to all of them, but here are my thoughts: (1) We claim Tinubu is old, did we not have a "young" President who had a terminal illness? Did we not have another young President who died suddenly? As for those claiming Tinubu is not healthy, please publish his health records for us to see. (2) We talk of religion, the religious societies like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, how are they doing economically? Why do you Christians run to Dubai? Deep in our hearts, are we really concerned about religion or it is just a convenient excuse we use? I am for a Bola Tinubu and Babagana Zulum ticket. I am at the point in my life where I am no more religious, but striving towards my spirituality. (3) They claim Tinubu ousted Ambode and did not listen to pleas. All politics is local. Ambode had stepped on the toes of local politicians by cutting them off and they said they didn't want him. Should Tinubu have gone against them? Remember, you are only as popular as those loyal to you. (4) They claim Tinubu has educational baggage, but his school has admitted they have record of his attendance. But we choose not to accept it, because it helps our narrative. (5) They say Tinubu is corrupt. Which court has convicted him of corruption? I want to assess my vote on mental capacity for innovative leadership, nationwide outreach, experience and knowledge of the problems. Does Tinubu fit all these? Can he win elections for APC? |

The fact that these two men from the same tribe are going against each other says a lot about our dear country Nigeria. Its means its all about interest the remaining local people are not included. Means they don't have the same ideology even though they belong to the same party. |

LillyandDaisy:Bruv, what greed? Tinubu just has huge self-belief that is predicated on a solid history of spectacular achievement over many decades. Is that not what you should want in a President? We all have constituencies in life be it our family, local mens club or even our business/job function. Just show me one constituency Tinubu has failed. Spectacular success in the private sector. Universally lauded success as Lagos Governor. Incredible work, through ACN, to rout PDP in the SW and make the Party the majority in the region. A feat no other could achieve against PDP with the likes of inferior weaklings like Obi even abandoning APGA to flee to PDP when he realized he is a follower rather than leader like BAT. Atiku too is a serial defector whereas Tinubu has built political. Institutions others are using as platforms of service. Shall we then talk of what BAT did with APC when PDP, through Ogbulafor, had bragged it would rule Nigeria for 60 years? Who else has mentored anywhere near the number of effective leaders Tinubu has directly elevated into Nigerian political offices and consciousness? Some of you are just biased that is why you use totally incongrous words, like "greediness" to malign Tinubu when you should just confess you hate him because of sectional bias. It is a crime for someone with Tinubus spectacular vision and achievement to never lead Nigeria. We are all still suffering today from how forces of regression were allowed to frustrate Awolowo. I will personally do my best, in my little way, to ensure Tinubu becomes President of Nigeria because it is history repeating itself with enemies of progress trying to win, again, so we remain a basket case Nation despite our huge potentials. |

Fiscus105:Amaechi is the one backed by PMB not Osibanjo, political neophytes and tribal bigots cannot discern it. BAT knows this himself |

Dsalvo:100% SW indeed. SW are better off political analyst than being a politician. U think politics at national level is same as state level, SW has become broom in the hands of fulani when it comes to politics, una don fall enter fulani trap, osinbajo declaration has perfected the fulani plan and they're even encouraging more Yorubas to declare for president uder APC so to perfectly seal their consensus candidate plan.....I don give u expo so use ur head |

Your position here only gives reasons why Osinbajo is better but not enough reason for Tinubu to lose. Don’t forget it was money Atiku used to win the last PDP presidential primaries NaijaCowFarm: |

lagosians are not happy with him but he keep winning elections in lagos. Many people who are singing osinbajo praises now are not doing that because they love osinbajo but to spite tinubu. We all know that online opinion doesnt always count in politics. In a matter of weeks , it will be clearer. |

12 signs why Tinubu won’t get APC Presidential ticket 1. The Generals from Alani Akinrinade to TY Danjuma, IBB etc do not want Asiwaju to contest. Akinrinade & Danjuma asked him to withdraw from the race and analysed to him the danger of losing everything if he contested the primaries and lost. General Akinrinade is close to Asiwaju and does not want him to lose face post the election. 2. The Governors told him at the meeting he had with them that they would not support him. They accused him of being obsessed with power. They reminded him of how he snubbed them when they pleaded with him to support Ambode and Obaseki. 3. Afenifere leaders are totally against his presidential ambition. Olu Falae and Baba Fasoranti pointedly told him while Ayo Adebanjo has never hidden his disdain for Asiwaju's presidential ambition. 4. His health challenges are too overwhelming to be ignored. Nigerians want a healthy president who will be available to lead the country out of the woods. 5. Too many faux pas. Since announcing his intention to contest, Asiwaju's campaign has been bogged down with self-inflicted errors through wrong pronouncements from asking people to renew obsolete voter's cards to the threat of violence. People doubt his mental capacity even though he insists he has the capacity to lead. 6. Avoidable rift with NURTW. Tinubu sided with MC Oluomo against the NURTW which has a nationwide reach. Traditionally, Tinubu's camp enjoyed a good rapport with the body during elections. That base is no longer there. 7. The aspirant the stakeholders in the party is considering now a PYO . Asiwaju is not on President Buhari's radar and the President has told close associates he will never hand over power to Tinubu or Atiku because of the concern over greed and corruption. Fayemi and Amosun may also declare their intention any moment from now but once the party decides on consensus to support PYO, they will throw their weight behind him. Fayemi and Amosun's declaration will further enfeeble Asiwaju's ambition. Of course, Fayemi and Amosun would like to win but they realise that their chances may be slim. 8. The general consensus in the South West is that PYO stands a better chance to win at the general election than Asiwaju. Some even believe that Asiwaju himself knows. They therefore cannot understand why he is playing the spoiler role. 9. Almost all members of the Tinubu original power/intellectual base and allies when he was Governor are not in support of his Presidential ambition. Aregbesola, Afikuyomi, Ojudu, Onanuga, Alake, Fasola etc. Most of them may work for PYO. 10. Discerning people have compared Lagos with Dubai in 1999 when Tinubu took over as Governor and has been the power behind the throne since then. There is no basis for comparison between what Dubai has become between 1999 and now and what Lagos has become in the intervening period in spite of the enormous resources of Lagos. They pinned it down to one source: the avarice of Tinubu. They do not see how Nigeria can make the kind of progress the people want with Asiwaju's leadership style. What the country wants and needs is a selfless leader who will work for the best interest of the people. 11. Above all the nation won’t survive a Muslim - Muslim presidency. It is too dangerous to try and Tinubu is insisting on that. It was for this same reason he could not be VP to both Atiku and Buhari at different times. The non acceptance of this is not even from the Christians but from fellow Christians. 12. His greed is believed to have no comparison. Some said it could only be compared to that of Abacha. Recently he moved to an 11 million pounds house in London transferred to him by Madam Deziani in 2016 as payment for protection from the administration which they believed he brought to being. Another luxury apartment owned by the same Deziani and transferred to him has been located in New York and the government of Nigeria has filed actions to recover them. Gorge Udom. |

Joylove2324:Don't underrate Amaechi..you will surprise what the outcome of the Election would be. Amaechi started his consultations from the Emirs instead of the Governors and the legislators..the governors knows who the next president is. In politics you will get an answer without a formula unlike mathematics where the formula must be followed to arrive to the answer..Mark today's date and quote me after the election. |

Fiscus105:You are very correct! Come to think of it, how can a VP summons, the governors, Senators and the reps for a meeting, without buhari's approval? The stystem of the presidential primary coming up will be different from the chairmanship convention, the presidential will be the photocopy and repeat of 2014 primaries which brought buhari, it will look clean and clear but the power that be would have given instructions. That's my take |

jyz200:The law of power you put under your comment is a not universal and all-time truth. The story of David and Saul in the Bible is my example, though there are also many past and contemporary ones. David outshone his master, Saul. The latter did all he could to kill him but failed. The time of that trouble was the time of David's increase in power. In fact, he even had two opportunities to kill his master who was hunting for him all over the place but did not. So, if God has given you the grace to outshine your master, do so with humility and recognition of the fact that God has used him to lift you up but make sure you outshine him, that's your time for power - you may never have it again. Therefore, the true law is: Don't shy away from outshining your master once there are all indications the time is ripe for it otherwise, you will become a wasted destiny. |
