I voluntarily send money and a job offer to a fraudster who called to scam me today.

I can remember having this congratulatory messages from this scammer... I ignored it but I was surprised to still receive a similar message again. So this morning while I was in my office and going through my phone I decided to engage this person...

To cut the Long story short below is our conversation... I just hope am doing the right thing.... How can I trust this person with a job... God!!! But if he can truly repent, that will be more than rewarding

Haba, I'm really surprised that someone in 2022 Nigeria would even consider responding to this obvious scam!

I received exactly the same message but as usual I simply ignored it.

@Op, sorry to inform you that you're already a victim! I strongly recommend that you swiftly block this scammer unless there's something you're not telling Nairalanders undecided

I agreed with you on this. You can read boldly, when the guy said, I will give you job, the Scammer is obsessed with, " can I send my account" and he doesn't even bother to ask, where s/he should send cv to

Even if the OP agrees or not.
It's certain you've been hypnotized already.
You might think you're helping her but in truth you're been compassionate under the influence of the AFRICAN VOODOO.

There are many people around you that are in need of money and giving her the money won't change her but she will only switch to another hypnotized MAGA.

Op, God bless you.

But whether you help or not, that scammer will keep on scamming people anywhere he or she goes. After Ogun people, I fear Benin guys.

Scammers are evil and unrepentant people.

In as much as you have a good heart, you just supported his fraud business. Just look at him: He's more interested in sending his account number than in anything.

And this is actually a trend with those fraudsters:

The moment they're caught, they begin playing the "I want to stop defrauding people but this country is hard" card. They do it a lot with foreigners and some take pity on them and send them some money.

Then the scammers laugh at the "magas" behind their backs and still go on to ask for more money after squandering whatever they received.

Why did the guy message you in the first place?

To get money from you.

Did he get money from you?

Sure he did. You think you're helping him, but he thinks he's scamming & emotionally manipulating you. He'll be back.

I wonder how much she'd make month with this outdated format.
She needs the money more than she needs the job. I'll advise op to give her the job offer if she's willing to work, but be mindful as first impression they say maters a lot.

Recently jammed one online too, claiming how he is a she...how she makes at least 5k dollars on a pyramid scheme. She even sent me a screenshot proof and sent a link and password for me to open her account to confirm. grin cheesy The mumu actually thought I would open the link so that he can hack my phone. cheesy

Later I asked to have a voice call with her, she told me to give her some minutes, after a while, he made a video call...my instincts just told me not to pick...after 30 mins, I called back...he didn't pick...he said he was busy that we should make the call the following day. I repeated the same process again, and the same thing happened. He obviously was getting a lady ready to speak with me...but whenever my call went in, the lady was prolly not there. I just laid a curse on the lazy bone and blocked him cheesy

My candid advice to you is NEVER to send the idiot any money. He is one of the numerous Tinubu miscreants littered everywhere online. He's probably not received his March stipend

Just imagine, "are you mad", "idiot",
@op why do you guys see nothing wrong in using gutter insult? Even if its the devil, learn to talk without using those words to attack people, you can actually express yourself and make the person know he/she is doing illegal things without those words.

The amount of scammers on social media is really becoming something else.
I refuse it's the level of the economy, it can directly be linked to laziness and get quick mentality.
