1.YORUBA LANGUAGE-i find the yoruba language appealing(especially when they sing in their language).Had a friend who taught me some words until he graduated from school
2.CALABAR CUISINES-when I represented my school(FUTO) in the pre-nuga games(chess) in calabar,I experienced for myself the wonder that is calabar dishes.delicios,cheap and their environmnt is clean too
3.ACCOMODATING NATURE OF THE TIVS
..These are some of the positive qualities which our country is endowed with.Nairaland peeps share what you like about other tribes..

The chap who composed the above list does not know about Nigerias ethnic groups. Take a look at Delta state. Which ethnic group is Enuani, Ndokwa or Ika.
Ndokwa is just a local council in Delta state and they speak a variant of Igbo dialect called Ukwuani. The same Enuani is Igbo which he listed. Ika is also Igbo. In Abia state, there is no Ibibio language or ethnic group. This madness really has to stop.
In Rivers state, the fool did not list Igbo as a language yet half of the population speaks Igbo.
That list should be thrown into a waste bin.

Upon all your years in Owerri (FUTO), you never knew that Ibo is incorrect. What a shame to some Igbo recent graduates.

Igbo: I love Igbo girls (respectful, funny, and cool chics) and their food... They have some nice guys as well, especially the ones who don't really care about the tribe.. Two Igbo guys are still my closest friends today, and we've been close since I was in primary school... Igbo2011, Cap28, and a couple of other Igbo posters on NL are cool peeps..

Fulani: I used to go out with a fulani chic when I was 17, and she was pretty cool. And her parents and siblings were cool as well.. So, I guess all the bs in the media about them can't be 100% accurate, but I may be wrong. My boy is also half Yoruba and half Fulani (Paternal side) from Bauchi - and he's the nicest and calmest chap ever...

Edo/Benin/Urhobo: Oba tor Kpere!! What can I say about these great people?? Almost all my uncles out here in London are from that axis.. They're very funny people, and most of my friends are from that axis as well... They're the closest to my heart - God knows if I wasn't Yoruba, that would have been my tribe... Rich culture, funny people, and beautiful women...

Jukun: Don't really know much about the tribe, but I went out with a chic from there during my uni days.. Coolest chic ever!!

Efik: The food is epic!! Edi ka ikang is the best naija dish... I haven't met too many people from that side - but Mama Calabar who supplies me edi ka ikang is pretty cool.

Hausa/Fulani/Northerners: Oner thing I like about northerners that I don't think other ethnicities possess in record numbers is their kind nature. They are very kind and are always ready to help you out financially or otherwise. I also like the fact that they don't attach so much value on material things unlike their southern counterparts.

Edo/Urhobo/Isoko/Warri: These people have one thing in common. They are funny as hell and you won't be bored when you're in their midst. They also tend not to care about your ethnicity when relating with you especially the Warri ones.

Yoruba/Yoruboid: I like the fact that they take pride in their culture more than a group in southern Nigeria. They're also liberal in nature and welcoming. A Yoruba man can leave a stranger in his house and go out. The stranger can even go to his kitchen to take food and eat.

I love all Nigerian groups.

I guess everyone knows the Wodaabe sub-group more so than any other Fulani sub group out there. Despite there being several Fulani sub-groups.

I think the hausas warm and giving people I am crazy about the yoruba beans..Nigeria has a beautiful group of people..Hard working as well!

I'd much rather see a nice thread like this versus those very nasty back and forths I have saw on many of the other threads on here. As an american born Afrikan (so called African American), it really disheartens and sickens me. It reminds me of some of the of the factors that led to Afrikans selling each other into slavery. You have been salivating on Fulani people and claimed you look like them....I guess you wish you were one and not Uhrobo abi na Isoko you be. Get over it because they hate you and regard you as an inferior ! I personally like the hausas because of their simple lifestyle and humble nature. I like Yorubas when they are in the mood of party. Benins are very funny and also welcoming to visitors but they are very fetish. Igbos are cool and also reserved with beautiful women but they are too ambitious to a fault!
